I’ve been feeling numb, but reality truly hit when we laid you to rest. Nothing in life prepares you for this time. You were an amazing mom. Life wasn’t always easy, but you showed us how to face it with strength, grace, and no regrets. I definitely get my carefree spirit from you by the way you embraced challenges instead of letting them break you.
You were not just my mom you were my role model, my teacher , my coach and biggest supporter alongside with dad.
I hate that I couldn’t give you the grandkids you always asked for, but I’m so grateful and blessed that you were there to watch me grow into the strong, successful woman you helped shape. I was lucky to have two loving parents who supported us in chasing our dreams and living with passion.
Even though my heart is heavy, I find peace knowing you’re no longer in pain. I know you’re resting in Heaven, surrounded by light and love, and I feel your spirit with me. I know this isn’t goodbye.. it’s just see you later.I love you mama . 🕊️ by @dammnbritt
