Some people don’t understand what it means to love someone who’s no longer here, but I carry you every single day, Jordan. I still look for you in everything in songs, in memories, in quiet moments where it feels like you should still be here. A year later and it still doesn’t feel like “moving on,” it feels like learning how to live with a love that has nowhere to go. Grief is just love with nowhere to land, and I have so much love left for you.

29 feels so good already. This whole weekend felt like the perfect mix of nostalgia, love, laughter, and celebration. Friday and Saturday with my lil sister and the Class of 2016 felt like stepping back into some of the best years of my twenties so many memories, so many familiar faces, and so many moments I didn’t know I needed. Then getting to spend my actual birthday today out with my older sister day parties, good food, good vibes, and just being surrounded by love was everything. My heart is so full. I’m beyond grateful for every text, call, post, hug, birthday wish, and everyone who helped make this weekend what it was. Thank you for celebrating me, loving me, and making 29 start off so beautifully.
