So many spaces to prep now and honestly… I love seeing it all come together. From the woodland deck to the studio, the Little Red Sauna, the tree top deck, dining room and studio kitchen, The Den, Betty The Caravan Cafe, 4 bathrooms, pizza oven area and the 3 glamping cabins (including hut). That’s a lot to get ready, especially after The Still Life & Supper Club on Friday (which was ace) and a busy and fun Woodland Workout on Saturday morning. A fabulous group celebrated a significant birthday together this weekend. Every area was used, and had people gathering, chatting, laughing and celebrating all evening long. Even Pilates this morning on the woodland deck after a lot of pizza and palomas in the Den and by the firepit last night. All making full use of Damson Hill exactly as it’s meant to be used! #Privateparty #birthdaycelebrations #gather #celebrate #hampshire by @damsonhillcottage
A little feature in Hampshire Life this month @hampshirelifemagazine It feels funny seeing it all reduced to a few pages when it’s really 25+ years of life… but it captures a little piece of what Damson has become. Thank you Hampshire Life for doing this feature. Damson has never been a “business plan” kind of place. It’s grown from real life - fresh air, movement, family, grief, joy… and just keeping going. This piece is just a small glimpse into the backstory behind it all. And if you’ve ever come to a class, a hike, or spent time here - you’re part of this story too 💚. Beautiful photos @hesterphoto and @koala_marketing_ in the feature. If you’d like to read the story go to the link in my bio. #damsonhillcottage #hampshirelife #wellbeing #outdoors #pilates by @damsonhillcottage

Our final 10-miler of the year was a cracker! Sunshine, spectacular Autumn views and a woodland obstacle course because of all the fallen trees. Naturally, our very own We’re Going on a Bear Hunt! soundtrack accompanied every “over it, under it, THROUGH it!” moment. Our steepest, highest hike yet, with breathtaking views and perhaps our most generous 10 miles too! A well-earned coffee and cake stop at the Bucks Head, Meonstoke, before climbing Beacon Hill, then a wholesome lunch on Damson’s treetop deck. The perfect Sunday, with happy hearts and tired legs. NEXT UP: OUR 15-MILE MIGHTY HIKE! Sunday 22nd November, heading to Raimes Vineyard for wine and lunch before returning to Damson for tea and cake. We’re full, but building a waitlist, so do get in touch! FESTIVE FUN: Christmas Craft Night is full, and just one session has spaces remaining space out of our six Wild Woodland Wreathmaking sessions - midday Friday 11th December. Wild-foraged foliage and plenty of festive cheer at this longstanding and popular event in the woods. AND… OUR FIRST RETREAT AWAY FROM DAMSON! We’re heading to beautiful County Wicklow, Ireland, near Glendalough, collaborating with the wonderful Sacha of Vivre Retreats @vivreretreats Four days of hill walks, Pilates, sauna, nourishing food, rest and connection. 27–30 April 2027 Comment WICKLOW to join the info list! Look out for my post later in the week. From Autumn trails to Irish hills, there’s always another adventure around the corner at Damson. Come and join us! #damsonhillhikes #wildwoodlandwreathmaking #christmaspaperdecorations #walkingandwellnessinwicklow #hampshireevents by @damsonhillcottage

Another fabulous Damson Hill Hike, this time taking in Beacon Hill with (literally and figuratively) the most breathtaking views. With the added adventure of path finding around, over, under or through the numerous trees felled in the last 48 hours by Storms Austen and Boelo. Once again got completely distracted by deliciousness to remember to capture the coffee stop and two course lunch on camera until it was too late 😋😁 Thanks so much Tors @damsonhillcottage and to everyone for their marvellous company today xx by @damsonhillcottage
Hey lovelies. I had a fabulous meet up with the irrepressible Victoria Corbett this afternoon, at the beautiful Damson Hill Cottage, and I am delighted to announce that I will be running workshops and creative sessions there very soon. And guess what… you’re all invited! 🙂 I knew what a legend Tors was before I went, we’ve known each other a long time. But, WOW! What an incredible place she has built, from the ground up. If you haven’t come across Damson Hill Cottage before take a look at their website. It’s the home of rural, wholesome health and activity, festoon lights, glamping and creativity. I’m hoping to kick off with some lovely festive makes before Christmas. So watch this space! Pictures attached are of the spaces we will be using to create wonderful things together. You’re going to love it ❤️ #VickiHuntStudio #DamsonHillCottage #CreativeWorkshops #HampshireWorkshops #HampshireEvents by @damsonhillcottage

A weekend at Damson Hill 🍂 From The Strength Circuit and Woodland Workout to The Little Red Sauna sessions - including a special evening booking followed by a firepit and paninis - and two birthday glamping celebrations over the weekend! We also squeezed in a very early 10-mile hike recce this morning (and actually ran it too - our only prep for the Great South Run 🫣). It was hard! Then this afternoon, a beautiful Autumn wreathmaking workshop with Sarah Guild @sgfloraldesign We also had a lovely Still Life Club with artist Rebecca Hurst @rebeccahurstart , taking time to slow down, get creative and enjoy a delicious glass of wine from @wychesvineyard and a sharing platter in the dining room. And there’s more coming up this week… 🌿 Damson Disconnect - Wednesday 14th October, 10am–1pm Our monthly morning to make time for the things you keep meaning to do. Bring a book, get creative, tackle a jigsaw, get some planning done (or even some work in a fresh environment), or simply enjoy a change of pace and hang out here solo or with friends. Do book so I know how much healthy bakes to make on Tuesday! The sauna will also be open to book. 🥾 Coming up too on Sunday 25th October: our 10-mile Damson Hill Hike A day of beautiful countryside and good company, with a halfway coffee and cake pitstop at The Bucks Head, Meonstoke, followed by healthy homemade lunch back at HQ. If you fancy joining us, we’d love to see you there! Booking details for everything via the link in bio. 🍂 by @damsonhillcottage
What a gorgeous new space @damsonhillcottage When I visited Victoria (Tors) earlier in the year to view this special place, this area was mud. Work was stopped because the rain had created a quagmire. Months later and it has been transformed into a beautiful space. It’s called the Nook I believe (correct me if I’m wrong, Tors) I had a little peep before I started my Still Life workshop last night and it’s such a relaxing, warm and cozy space. I’ll be sharing more from the workshop this week. Amazing art created by people who claimed before starting that “they’re not creative” - it’s a phrase I hear time and time again and yet when people get started, they don’t want to stop and love what they have made. I love what I do! 🥰 by @damsonhillcottage
If you fancy doing something a little different next Friday evening, we’ve got the Still Life Club here at Damson Hill with the lovely Rebecca Hurst @rebeccahurstart And I’ve just added something extra - your evening now starts with a complimentary sauna from 5pm. So you can come up early, have a sauna, use our two hot showers to get yourself ready, and then settle in for a lovely evening of creativity, wine and good food. Rebecca’s workshops are really relaxed and playful - you absolutely don’t need to be good at art. It’s about experimenting, having a play and getting lost in the process. Then there’s a glass of local Wyches Vineyard wine @wychesvineyard and a sharing board, all included. So that’s sauna from 5, Still Life Art Club from 6.30, and a really lovely Friday evening at Damson Hill. We’ve got a few spaces left - I’d love to see you there! Know someone who’d love this? Give it a little share - you might just make their Friday night. #thelittleredsauna #stilllifeclub #fridaynight #creativeevening hampshireevents by @damsonhillcottage
