Life doesn't offer refunds on time.
Slow down and be intentional.

Don't let anger consume you, be present, be calm - be better than yesterday.

Life is good, if you choose to see it.

Family today, and trying to relive old memories with my dad.

Was a good day.
Was a hard day.

Thankful for my family, and the wonderful life that I have built with them.

Dan’s design work for MKC (Montana Knife Company) was a real passion project. Slightly different than a lot of the fitness/wellness brands he typically works with.

Thankful.

Was a good night, but there was still a feeling of unspoken emptiness, and I think we all sensed it.

We all miss you, dad ♾️🕊️
[thanks for the shirt]

May 4th, 2025 at 2:48 PM — I stood beside his bed with my hand on his shoulder and said goodbye to the man who gave me life. The man who taught me what it means to lead with courage, to give without hesitation, and to fight through anything just for one more day with the people you love.

This Father’s Day wasn’t easy — but it was special. I was surrounded by people I love and got to honor my dad in a permanent way thanks to a close friend. My daughter gave me some of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received. My wife gave me a photo of me and my dad that now sits on my desk — a daily reminder to stay strong and show up, even if it’s just for one more day.

There’s no way to ever be ready for this kind of loss… but I’ve found peace in knowing that the strength he carried is now in me. In those last moments, I could feel him still in the room. I spoke to him, as he assured me it was okay — that it was my turn now to be strong.

I hear you, Dad. I’ve got your strength.
And one day, I’ll sit down with you and tell you all about the incredible life that Violet lived.

Happy Father's Day. by @dan.activebrand
