why was this my favorite trip yet? 🛩️

in between stints on this Europe trip with family and then friends, and coming off the back of getting laid off, uncertainty and anxiety, followed by months of full-time freelance work with barely any time to myself, I decided to take time for my self.

I needed a nice resort with a nice view. I needed somewhere new, fresh, and quiet. and I needed time to breathe. so, when I saw @saccharumresort tucked in the corner of some mountains on an island I’ve always wanted to go to, steps from their private beach, infinity pool on the rooftop, spas, location...

I didn’t really have a choice. I booked it.
