Spectacular day at Tahoe, perfect weather.

Had a memorable weekend in San Diego visiting with my best friends from college, and friends we've made because of them. Also, remembering an Aztec legend and #1 Super Fan and friend to all, Chet Carney, at his celebration of life event at the Aztec Athletic Center.

We also had a couple other events with the same group the evening before and after. Ever thankful and grateful for these 40+ year friendships.

A bonus was finally meeting, and thanking legendary Aztec and Michigan basketball coach Steve Fisher. What he built, turning SDSU - which one of the worst programs in D1 into a powerhouse, with a stack of conference championships, annual trips to the NCAA tournament, was remarkable.

Plus got to chat with our current coach Brian Dutcher and get some inside scoop about next year's team. He elevated the program, taking us to the Final 4 and National Championship game vs UConn in 2023.

Both are such humble, engaging, classy gentlemen that are winners in every way. A privilege to chat with them both. taken in San Diego State University by @dan.maxwell.11

Theresa & I had a wonderful dinner, great food and lots of laughs with two of the best guys I've ever known- both for 45+ years ... Gary Plummer and Brad Hobson ... with their amazing wives Carrie Hobson and Corey Plummer. Bonus to do it at C-Level... phenomenal.

One of the many great things about football ... the friendships you can make and the bonds you build. Thankful to have friends like this for decades. Plus ... San Diego ... the best. taken in C Level by @dan.maxwell.11
