The final two action packed books of the Uki trilogy, and (possibly) the whole 9 book Podkin One-Ear Saga. An absolute joy to narrate, and actually some of the few books for younger people that Iā€™ve done this year. These are packed with brilliant and vibrant characters and I cannot wait to read them all to my little girl when sheā€™s old enough. Iā€™ll miss them all. #voiceover #narrator #audiobook #fantasy @wfhowes by @dan_bottomley

Despite having to record late at night, sleep deprived, this was easily the most fun Iā€™ve had in the home studio. Plus, even with some full blast screaming and deaths, I didnā€™t wake the baby. Success! Listen out for my dulcet tones on a heap of different characters in @gotkingsroad. A terrific first booking with the marvellous @voicefox_voiceover_agency PS: Photoshop skills not indicative of quality of voice performance by @dan_bottomley

One of my favourite series to narrate has been the Podkin One-Ear books, the first one released nearly a decade ago! This is the first of an exciting spinoff trilogy which sits between the first and last three in the series. Itā€™s interesting to see how my narrative style has changed since then, a little less frantic, a little more considered. You really canā€™t go wrong with these titles, Iā€™m constantly in awe of the inventiveness of @kieranlarwood, and theyā€™re refreshingly mature for the target market. Iā€™ll be sad to see the back of the series once I finish the last one in June. For fans of the hobbit and redwall books, Check them out! #narrator #audiobooks #fantasy #childrensfiction #audible by @dan_bottomley

YES ITā€™S ME! NO AUTOGRAPHS PLEASE. After one or two self tapes over the last decade, I was fortunate enough to appear in my first on-screen commercial this year. And a lovely one it was as well. Hereā€™s me and me serving both confused and perplexed. Thanks @alexi.was.here who flaunted all the rules to get this snap in the cinema watching the art house movie Wicked II: Wicked Harder. #morrisons #christmasad #commercial #actor by @dan_bottomley
