Today It’s been 1 year living in Spain🤯

Today is actually the day I came to Spain one year ago to make my dream come true.

Since I was a kid, I wanted a Spanish life. I was drawn to it. Through the years, I kept telling everyone that one day I would live in Spain, speak Spanish, have Spanish friends and a Spanish family. That I would have a Spanish life..

The thought of it was so strong that I couldn’t wait any longer. I had to take action, and one year ago I made a move that changed my life forever. Since then, every day of my life feels like a movie.

During this year in Spain, I’ve met so many amazing people, made friendships that will last forever, and also met people who challenged me. But everything happens for a reason, and those experiences helped me grow as a person.

The reason I’m writing this is because today I’m coming back to Spain from holidays in Poland, and I realized it’s the exact same day I went there for the first time. It feels so sentimental.

Everything that has happened is thanks to the beautiful lady at the end of this story..my lovely mother and the reason I’m where I am today. When I was a kid, I started watching Mexican telenovelas with her. That’s when my passion for the Spanish language, culture, and way of life began.

Because of her support and unbreakable belief in me, I had the courage to go for the life I’ve always wanted. I love my mother with all my heart and I’ll always be grateful that she raised me to be the person I am today. A person with a heart full of love and passion for life. by @dan_legovsky

“The hardest part isn’t the climb, the hardest part is realizing how far you have come”

My Story:

After two weeks being in Spain I got fired. Then a flood hit Valencia and I lost my job again. I had €0 in my bank account, rent and debt to pay off but I didn’t give up. That moment broke me and built me at the same time. Finally I found a good job in sales, and now I work remotely, traveling through Spain and living a life that once felt like just a scene from the movies. I’m sharing this because someone out there needs to hear it: YES! you can do it. If a quiet kid from a poor family, working in tobacco fields, dreaming of something bigger than a small life in a small town…if that kid can make it happen, so can you. I’m also posting this as a promise to myself: I will never stop. No matter how hard it gets, I will keep chasing what sets my soul on fire. I still have so much more ahead of me. But I know now…what truly makes me happy is using my story to help others. And if this touches even just one person… that’s everything. You’ve got one life. And even if no one else believes in you — I do. by @dan_legovsky
