Pienza, Italy-Across the Tuscan hills lie many hilltop towns in Val d’Orcia. Our party traveled to a terrace seated high above to take in delicious wine, conversation, and the incredible view. As the night grew colder, we could only laugh and cuddle into our hot pasta and warm blankets. Speak low if you speak love-Our wedding celebration began by welcoming our friends in with a little masked ball. Firenze, Italia - .Our first stop in our Italian wedding adventures- how lovely! Endless cobblestone streets invite the passerby to indulge on a hefty bistecca alla fiorentina or dollops of gelato from shiny silver tins. Saints and Roman gods alike stand together in respect as they look down on us, centuries of time between our gazes. Wine flowing out of the little unexpected window into the sunset. Experiencing pasta and drinks among our little brigade of world travelers will be in my memories. Life moves pretty fast- if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it-...Wanting to post my wedding travel pics and realizing I’m so behind on the IG game- here’s a small viewfinder of the fun I had January till April. Oh-ho-ho it’s magic, you know- never believe it’s not so..Another lil trip down last year, the first of October we took a half day to introduce Jack to Disneyland! Had to visit my favorite friends and the best rides in such a short time! We were blessed with SO much magic and loved every minute! Disneyland and its magic makers are made of pixie dust and heart. All the adventures?” Quoting the fireworks we saw at Disneyland Paris to cap off our spring this year, I thought I remembered what magic felt like. Il n’est rien de réel que le rêve et l’amour..Sharing more long overdue moments from our French escapades in May- going to the Palais Garnier, where they say the phantom resided in Box 5 (and you’ll see it’s still reserved for his use to this very day). Some ballet, some delicious French cuisine that Jack scouted out, some French sunlight, and our rendezvous in Montmartre’s fabulous L’Hôtel Particulier. Ooh, ‘cause nobody ever loved me like you doI’d love to see me from your point of view..I’m still pretty sure Versailles was a dream but then I look over at the man that I love and down at my hand and realize it wasn’t a dream at all..When we arrived at Le Grande Contrôle, Jack surprised me with the sweetest day of my life - a boat on the lake, a tour of the gardens, lunch and tea. The clouds parted and the sun shone on the flowers surrounding Jack when he asked me to be his forever. The magical evening to follow mirrored our sweet morning.
