If I Ain’t Got You - Alicia Keys

First up in my September in review!
Was an honor to join @westernu_mim in the first ever Late Night Listen at @cityofhope with @coh_aya. Such a great group of performers and such a wonderful opportunity to help heal through music. Thanks @abraham_chorbajian for the accompaniment. Hope to be back soon! by @danajmusic

When You Believe - The Prince of Egypt
Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey

This was my first time singing on campus in person for an event! You would think that with singing at my job over the years, I wouldn’t get nervous. I think it was because it hits different when you’re singing in front of people you may know. Friends at the same time calmed my nerves, so it was a fun time for sure. Helped that I only had to sing half the song and then duet at the end haha.

Thanks to my classmate for asking to duet together! I found out about the talent show about a month ago because of her ☺️ I think the best part is this is the first song idea she came up with and I said yes in .5 seconds cause I LOVE this one. Haven’t sang it in a while, so I’m grateful to have! The lyrics always hit with such relevance.
Also thanks to my fan girl videographer, you rock lololol.

15 Days of Songs Seen LIVE in 2026
Day 3: Some Things I’ll Never Know - Teddy Swims
Coachella Weekend 2, Day 1

Shoutout to the guy who put me on Teddy Swims in January because I’m SO glad and grateful I saw this song and this set live. It was really sweet as he thanked the audience for letting him do this song, cause I was just thankful that he was so willing to be intimate and vulnerable and such a big venue and stage. He can really do it all with the power and range off his voice. It’s reflected by his songs and the guests he brought out both weekends too. he is INCREDIBLE live.

Day 2: My Way - Katseye
Coachella Weekend 2, Day 1

This song during their set is honestly what made me a Katseye fan. You can tell by their performance how much they really care about their craft, putting on a good show, and their natural talent. My favorites are Sophia and Lara, not that I really matters because they’re all great, but I think I really appreciated those two and how they showcase their voices live. They can do both the sweet songs and the wild ones.

15 Days of Songs Seen LIVE in 2026
Day 1: Hair - Lady Gaga 🩶
February 22, 2026

Everyone in my family (besides Paul) has seen Lady Gaga live except me! I’m so glad that I got to see her with friends and my mom, because we all really appreciated how beautiful her artistry and her natural sing ability/performance live was. Also shout out to that drummer because he was amazing from our limited side view.

Not one of the most common ballads by Gaga for sure, but the first time I heard this song was at the show’s piano portion where Lady Gaga picks a song to sing and play acoustically. Someone behind me was freaking out because it was their favorite song. I truly think that listening to the words and lyrics that I understand why. It’s a really beautiful, well written song about self-love and how our hair is such a freedom of expression and of self… like how beautiful is it to be as free as my hair.

Nandito Ako - Lea Salonga 💜✨

Had a great time at the First Filipino Mic Drop for Filipino American History month. Honored to have been chosen as the first ever Filipino mic drop champion too 🇵🇭🎤🎶🏆 If you would’ve told me I’d be singing an OPM song on the main stage at a karaoke spot in West Hollywood on a random evening I wouldn’t have believed you. This is one of my FAVORITE songs, so I’m glad that Filipino Mic Fest had us sing it! More videos coming soon.

Thank you Make Your Marc, FilAm Creative, Pilipino Workers Center, SoCal Filipinos, Starlink Promotions, Manila International Film Festival, FILAM ARTS, and Mic Drop Karaoke for making this all possible. Thanks also to the judges: Mr. Dodie Simon, Debralee, and director 3rd judge I didn’t get the name of 😭, for knowing my chosen song wasn’t given in the expected female key 🙏🏽

Excited for the Lea Salonga concert, recording session, and to spend my gift card! So incredibly grateful.

I have openings for weddings! lol.
I don’t know what it is about this song, but I genuinely believe it to be the perfect love song. I was sent a piano cover of it recently and insisted that I needed to make a cover asap. Filipino American History Month is the perfect time to post it too.

Begged - Olivia Rodrigo

First time I heard this song I cried. I love this song. It’s beautiful and the songwriting is so honest and uses beautiful imagery. Can’t wait to hear live!!

I’ve Seen It – Olivia Dean

I really appreciate the simplicity of the music in this song as well as the truthfulness and genuineness of the lyrics. Olivia Dean, as an artist is just incredibly refreshing and different in today’s music, she would have fit perfectly in the classic genre as well.

Shoutout to the loved ones who’ve shown me true love through the hardest of times, I am so lucky and grateful.
