I FEEL MOST ALIVE AMONG THE TALL TREES.
Hi, I'm Dana. I have a thing for spinning circles.
POSTS STORIES REELS
And onto the next! We'll see if I can get through two challenges in a row. I'm also super new to fans but I've always wanted to try this challenge. Day 1: I relation slide with diamond outline With @downtojelly #fc_fanchallenge11 #fanarmy #forgedcreations by @danananah
DDTT Day 31: Clarissa slide vs antispin with @bella.from.the.internet OH MY GOD I MADE IT! with two trips, Halloween, and a visit from @lyss_412 . With a prop I was just about brand new too. A huge thank you to @bella.from.the.internet for organizing and being so welcoming to newbies by me. Y'all staff spinners are amazing and I love the ways your brains work. DDTT Day 30: diagonal grid 8 step (?) caps with isolations and antispins with @jonjonjonbrown (def not the right name but we trick or treated in two different neighborhoods with Riley and I am tired). This one was so fun!! Like its hard not to restart when I get to the end bc I just want to do it over again. Mark and I went as cosmo and wanda and it's one of my favorite costumes we've ever done! DDTT Day 29: Arm roll trap with @celtic_fire_starter This one has so much potential! I'm not quite there- in hindsight, I should have just taken the strings out on my wands for this challenge haha. The tape kept falling off with the roll. This was so fun!! DDTT Day 28: TKA sequence #3 with @austencloud Sooo this time I looked up a tutorial on inspin with staves from @drexfactor and man did it make a difference. I'm still not doing the pattern quite right but it's sooo much closer than the first two TKA sequences! DDTT Day 27: 3/4 togopp polyrhythm with @bella.from.the.internet This clicked so fast and made my day! Host: @bella.from.the.internet Sponsors: @flowtoys @dark.monk @jonjonjonbrown @sacreddesignsflow @randyleesticks #toilandtrouble26 by @danananah
DDTT Day 26: 8 step diagonal cap with @jonjonjonbrown For the some reason the diagonal antispin like an entirely new move! Like it took several watches and also writing each step down before I realized that it was just a full antispin on its side. Host: @bella.from.the.internet Sponsors: @flowtoys @dark.monk @jonjonjonbrown @sacreddesignsflow @randyleesticks #toilandtrouble26 by @danananah
DDTT day 24: 3D slides with @brandon.rossi More kitchen utensil flow bc why not. Slowly but surely I'm feeling the muscle memory for boxes and slides building up. Host: @bella.from.the.internet Sponsors: @flowtoys @dark.monk @jonjonjonbrown @sacreddesignsflow @randyleesticks #toilandtrouble26 by @danananah
DDTA day 25: TKA with @austencloud I'm sparing you my snails pace and sped this up a bit. This one tried my skills and my patience! I can do an inspin with poi but translating it to the staves was not happening. So this is my attempt at getting each hand down individually. Host: @bella.from.the.internet Sponsors: @flowtoys @dark.monk @jonjonjonbrown @sacreddesignsflow @randyleesticks #toilandtrouble26 by @danananah
DDTT Day 22: 8 step caps in diagonal grids I loved all the iterations of moving the staves across the diagonals! Sorry not sorry I left in my celebratory dance breaks - I forgot about the yeah yeah yeahs and this was fun. Instructor: @jonjonjonbrown Host: @bella.from.the.internet Sponsors: @flowtoys @dark.monk @jonjonjonbrown @sacreddesignsflow @randyleesticks #toilandtrouble26 by @danananah
DDTT Day 21: Tka sequence #1 This broke my damn brain 😂 if you notice I'm looking at the floor, it's because I needed a cheat sheet for what each staff was supposed to be doing! I did try putting both staves together buuuuut then the whole pattern got lost, so here's my practice of the individual sides. DDTT Day 20: Folding boxes inside themselves. This one is a fav! Will take a bit from time to smooth out, but I was jamming with it almost immediately!
