Real talk. When’s the last you FINISHED a song?

Nobody will say it so I’ll say it.
It’s not failure that kills your dream.
It’s not rejection either
It’s not “not having enough talent.”

It’s the in-between. ⏳

That season where you can hear what you want to sound like…
but you’re not there yet.

And that gap? It stings. 💔
So you write less. Sing less. Post less.
And then that little voice starts whispering, “Maybe this isn’t for me.”

Friend, listen to me. 🫶🏾
That gap isn’t proof you’re not called.
It’s proof you have an ear for beautiful things. ✨

Every artist you look up to stood right where you’re standing.
The only difference?
They didn’t stop. 🔥
finish the song. 🎶
Sing through the rough take. 🎙️
Your gift was not meant to be buried.
It was meant to overflow. 🌊

Confession Corner 👇🏾
What’s the song you started and never finished?
Drop the title (or just a 🎤) in the comments. I want to cheer you on. 💛 #WelcomeToTheCommunity

Why does your voice crack on high notes even when you’re “trying harder”? 🤔🎤

Here’s the truth: pushing harder is usually the problem. 😬

High notes come from space, not force. ✨

Here’s what to do instead 👇

1️⃣ Breathe low. Feel the breath drop into your belly, not your chest. 🌬️
2️⃣ Open your mouth tall, not wide. Think vertical. ↕️
3️⃣ Lift your soft palate. It should feel like the start of a yawn. 🥱

The result is less strain, less tension, and a freer sound. 🕊️🎶

Try it right now with “da da da la la” and notice the difference. 👀

💬 If you just tried it, Comment “YAWN” if you felt that space open up.

More warm-ups dropping soon, so stay “tuned”… Get it? 😉 by @danarayne_

Sometimes we say we waitin’ on God but God is really the one waiting on us. For 2 years I’ve been too scared to birth it because it felt so much bigger than me.

For two years I sat on this. Seeing a need knowing I could help but I kept telling myself “not yet,” “not ready,” “who’s gonna care anyway.” There’s many people doing similar things out here. Turns out waiting for ready is just a fancier way of staying scared.

So here we are. I am opening this is up less than a week, and I’m still nervous but I’m done sitting on it. Welcome to the Community. 🤝👥🎤 🌿✨

This isn’t gonna be your average -aesthetically-pleasing perfectly-polished page. I’m just gone be me encouraging, teaching, advocating, and being your biggest creative cheerleader. Thats what I feel like we all need right now. Including me.

👇Is there something YOU’VE been sitting on, that you know its time to release? Come on, the world is waiting.

More coming this week. Stay close. ☺️🕊️🌿
