February started with a terrible bow accident and ended with an Iranian missile shattering my house in Tel Aviv while I’m away but in between there was pure magic. Yoga everyday blizzard or not, a lot of music making, work on future projects, collaborating and discovering. I choose to let go of the bad to invite space for the best. Life is so unexpected and yet everything is happening for a reason. 🕊️ taken in Upper West Side Manhattan by @danasabass_

Hi all! Opening a few spots for double bass students this spring! Teaching has been one of my biggest passions since I was 15, and I truly love connecting and sharing my knowledge with others :) Whether you’re a classical player looking to refine your rep or work on fundamentals, a jazz bassist wanting to develop and extend your arco technique, or someone interested in expanding into improvisation, composition, and a deeper musical understanding, I’d love to work with you.
I also offer guidance in advanced techniques, and help build a strong, healthy foundation on the instrument. Free trial lesson, on zoom or UWS , nyc. :)

Feel free to DM me or reach out at danasabamusic@gmail.com 🤍 taken in New York, New York by @danasabass_

March, an end to a winter and beginning of a spring. Celebrated a birthday on the spring equinox day, went to uk, worked a ton and enjoyed the blooming. Tried to practice hopefulness and heal everything that broke in February. Still working on that….. 🕊️ taken in New York, New York by @danasabass_
