Well, Durango friends… one last hurrah (for now). 🤍✨

Come celebrate with me on August 14 before I head off on my next adventure! 🇪🇸

In just a few weeks I’ll be moving to Madrid to start my Masters degree and I can’t imagine leaving without one more night of music, laughter, and all of my favorite people.

🎻 Bring an instrument.
🥗 Bring a dish to share.
🎶 Bring your beautiful selves.

Let’s fill the evening with songs, stories, good food, and memories before this next chapter begins. I hope to see you there. 🤍🤍🤍🌹 taken in The iNDIGO room by @danasroses

🤍 Whether you’re rooted in soul, jazz, R&B, Americana, or contemporary folk, The Modern Americana Voice is designed for vocalists ready to deepen both their technique and emotional connection to music. 🤍
Through advanced vocal exercises and collaborative performance work, singers will explore:

• Breath support & resonance
• Dynamic control & vocal texture
• Phrasing & storytelling
• Harmony & improvisation
• Healthy contemporary vocal technique across genres

All skill levels are welcome. This workshop is ideal for singers who connect deeply with the songs they sing and are interested in artist development, collaboration, and future performance opportunities.

So glad to have Dana Ariel at this year’s Montezuma Rising!

Southwestern Colorado artist Dana Ariel blends soulful powerhouse vocals with dreamy Americana songs, creating a sound that feels both timeless and atmospheric alongside her band, The Comin’ Up Roses. She has shared the stage with national touring artists such as John Craigie, Anna Ash, and Esther Rose. Growing up in the mountains of Colorado, the daughter of a Turkish bouzouki player father and ski bum mother, Ariel blossomed in the folk scene she was surrounded by; always inspired by the mighty outdoors and power to be a wild woman. Her band features Cameron Wright on drums, Kiev Simonfy on bass, Jacob Nalle on console steel, Alex Forstoff on lead guitar…and the occasional mandolin or saxophone. Ariel’s’ sophomore album, Songs About Ghosts, releases August 2026.

Come check out Dana and all our other great artists at the third annual Montezuma Rising, Sunday May 24 at Fenceline Cider in Mancos. Tickets available in the @southwest_fest bio. taken in Fenceline Cider by @danasroses

🎉 It’s happening, Durango! 📣📣
We’re beyond thrilled to announce our Album Release Party at such an amazing venue @animascitytheatre , and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate it here!
It means the world to us to celebrate this milestone right where it all began. Coming back to the ACT — but this time to play our own show — feels surreal and so, so special.
We’re bringin’ the grooves, the good vibes and we can’t wait to share the stage with the incredible Dana Ariel & the Comin Up Roses @danasroses and Ely Cartwright @elycartwright 💐
Huge love and gratitude to everyone who’s been with us since day one 💛

Big thanks to our producer @janorix sound engineer @bsuttonbass and @studionashville for making this album happened 🫶🏼!
Let’s make the ACT shake! — Friday, January 9th! 🕺💃
