#DearSummer 26’ || I’ve been hosting various versions of this event since I moved to NJ 13 years ago. I took a break but I’m back in my hosting bag. Special thanks to all who helped pull this off — I always have a vision but lack patience when it comes to execution. To those who traveled by ✈️ 🚆 and 🚘 to be part of this night 🫶🏼. A time was had, see ya’ll next year! #rooftopparty #hostess #weoutside #bestlifeever taken in Edgewater, New Jersey by @danastorm

For years I was invited by clients/brands and never went; this year I took myself. A few learnings:

* Go midday, and even if it’s free it’s co$t$
* its HOT even in the shade so plan accordingly
* activations are cool — allot for time to experience all accounting for lines etc
* you can buy last minute tickets at discount for evening matches
* park at Citi field

And that’s a wrap . . . || I spent the month of August spinning the block on habits that worked, things that brought me joy, getting back to basics. That afforded me time and intentionality to lean into my home, enjoy summer in my city, availability do more spiritually and strengthen my relationships. I also got some much needed REST mentally and physically. I had to process in order to see progress. And it’s working. September, show me what you got lil mama 😉 #augustrecap #explorepage #lifestylevlog #bestlifeever taken in New York City by @danastorm

There is more happiness in giving than there is receiving (Acts 20:35) || Another congregation tea party in the books. Thank you Shauntel for including me year after year to create a core memory for 70+ of our sisters, and bring your creative vision to life. Yesterday was the best one yet . . . all the laughs , dancing, looks served and ugly cries. #bestlifeever #jw #sisterhood #teaparty taken in North Bergen, New Jersey by @danastorm
