Last year my mate Dan and I started chatting about making making some fun videos for dough hands, he’s a videographer and had ideas of shooting some kinda spoofy advert, close ups of bubbly cheese and sizzling pepperoni. I’m not exactly sure what happened between that and this but next thing it’s fully spiralled, he’s borrowed a mates vintage jag and we’re off to Margate lido with cameras, lights, a script, and a team of mates ready to put together a full set on the seafront. Anyway, we made this video, overarching theme was, ‘we’re hungover, we got pizza and we’re feeling existential.’ It feels slightly out of context now, the Jode is most definitely not a new addition to the menu but it took a lot of post prod work to get the video to where it is, everyone squeezing in time to get it done between busy jobs. The edit and finish on it is beautiful. My acting is questionable, Fern looks fit af, we froze our nipples off on the seafront until about 4am, there are so many reasons I needed to finally get this posted to give it the air time it deserves. Ultimately this was a passion project between old friends, pulled together on a next to nothing budget, and a load of hours have been put into making it what it is. Big up everyone involved ❤️
