Autumnal roasting

A few years ago, I made a resolution to bring in lunches to work, and after doing Zoe earlier this year, I switched from making sandwiches to salads.
-
& so for the colder months, what I'm trying to do is roast a bunch of stuff at the weekends and then chop this up to make the salads more seasonal. Today was butternut and cauliflower. by @dancall

Probably my first one in about 3 decades - have they changed the recipe? It always felt a lot more sticky and gooey, but then we used to bring them home, so the treacle would have had longer to soak in. taken in Fitzbillies Bakery by @dancall

Happy New Year, everyone!
I think that 2023 was pretty challenging for most of us, and I'm sure 2024 will be, too. But let's power through together.
-
I did a lot, achieved a lot, and helped a lot of people, but I've needed the last two weeks to wind down.
-
I don't really do resolutions, but I'm looking forward to lots of new experiences, new skills, new flavours, new books (lots of new books!), and hopefully seeing many of you in the flesh this year.
-
I'll also try to post more on here (but probably not on Facebook).
