Behind every moment of silence, there’s usually something unspoken.

Through movement, we give students a way to process what they don’t have words for, from anti-bullying to gun violence, the emotions nobody talks about until it’s too late. This is how we stop silence from becoming grief. Dance becomes a step toward healing.

This is what DANCA was built for.

Movement with meaning.

We’re proud to officially release our latest collaboration with @joffreyschool, created during their 2025 NYC Summer of Hip Hop Intensive—a purpose-driven music and dance project led by DANCA.

Nearly 80 youth dancers came together in an original dance music video rooted in anti-bullying and anti-gun violence advocacy, featuring choreography to “Another One” by Blacka Di Danca, produced by @mystacrooks and @claytonwilliam.

This was more than just dance.
It was a full-circle experience that blended Dancehall culture, emotional awareness, and youth empowerment through movement.

Our team worked hand-in-hand with Joffrey faculty, students, and parents to co-create a piece that didn’t just move bodies—it inspired hearts.

Choreographers:
Blacka Di Danca (@blacka)
Seiky Stephanie (@seikystephanie)
Jona Biddle (@thejonashow)
TRIX (@trixent8)

Production: @dancamedia
In partnership with Joffrey Ballet School
Sound powered by: @bumpboxx

To schools, organizations, brands, and institutions looking to build socially conscious programming that combines culture, wellness, and creativity—we’d love to connect.

This is just the beginning.

Another one… for the kids. For the culture.
For the cause.

Bullying ends when we start listening.
Violence begins when no one sees the pain.
We see it, and we move through it.

Here’s some footage from my week of teaching Dancehall for @dancaworld at the @joffreyschool Summer of Hip Hop Intensive alongside @seikystephanie.

This wasn’t just about choreography.
It was about purpose.
It was about introducing Dancehall, building unity, and using movement to heal.

Together with nearly 80 students, we choreographed to my original song “Another One” alongside @thejonashow @trixent8 preparing them for our anti-bullying/anti-gun violence dance music video rooted in rhythm and truth.

Most violence starts with one emotion no one asked about. But when we make space to move through it, we create change.

I love these kids.
The way they showed up, the way they embraced the message… that love is real.
And it’s mutual.

We believe in dance therapy.
We believe this work can save lives.
And we’re just getting started.

Thank you to @joffreyschool @dancaworld @summerofhiphop @seikystephanie @thejonashow @trixent8 @lissettelucas_ for making this happen.

And deep love to every student who showed up with heart, hunger, and courage. You’re the reason.

Final slide: a preview of the official video dropping soon.

Comment DANCA if you believe dance can change lives.

$This past week I walked into the @joffreyschool with a fractured ankle, nerve damage in my toe, a hyperextended kneecap, and a healing head & neck injury. And yet….I danced. Not for applause, not for recognition, but for something bigger; to help shape a moment that would empower the next generation to rise through rhythm, expression, and purpose. Alongside my partner @blacka , we planted the seed for a global anti-bullying campaign rooted in movement. What started off as a prayer became a music video with Joffrey’s summer students. From choreography and conditioning, to cleaning form, teaching the youth, and supporting the vision (even through chronic pain) I poured my heart into this project; because leadership isn’t loud It’s present, It’s patient and It’s persistent. Sometimes it may look like icing and limping with a smile, so kids know what strength really means. Thank you to every child who trusted me, to Blacka for building with me, to @thejonashow and @trixent8 for the hiphop sauce that married perfectly with dancehall, to @lissettelucas_ for having us and trusting in our vision, to PS 297 for that amazing location, and to my own body, for showing me that even broken things can still build. #dance #joffreyballetschool #danca #antibullying #antiguncontrol #stopgunviolence by @dancaworld$
