DMDC Update ❤️

Over the past year, DMDC has grown in ways I’m so proud of, but it’s time for a change.

To move forward in a way that allows both the business and myself to thrive, I’ve made the decision to step away (for now) from solo custom bookings for both bases and fully custom.

Moving forward, DMDC will focus on:

✨ Ready-to-wear, one-off costumes
Available in sizes 6–8yrs, 8–10yrs, 10–12yrs and 12–15yrs only.
These pieces will be designed and created entirely at DMDC’s discretion, with no custom bookings available.
All ready-to-wear pieces will be released on Instagram first, then added to the website if still available. No rentals.

✨ Troupe custom bases (minimum 5 pcs per style)
All troupe custom bookings must be submitted via the link in bio.
For larger orders of existing designs from dazzlemedancewear.com, studios can email our team with the style name and quantities per size.
Our admin team will assist with invoicing and order management. Group discounts will still apply.

✨ Our online store
The online store will continue as normal, with new designs regularly added.
As new styles are introduced, older designs will be discontinued.
Discontinued styles won’t be restocked once sold out, but remain available for troupe orders.

This shift allows me to return to a more hands-on, creative role — designing and sewing pieces I truly love, while giving our team space to grow.

Please note: All existing solo custom bookings placed online will be cancelled, and affected customers will be contacted via email.
Moving forward, solo, duo and trio custom bookings will not be available.

We understand this may be disappointing for some and appreciate your support as DMDC moves into this next phase. This decision has been made to protect the long-term future of DMDC and bring the business back to a place that feels aligned, sustainable, and creatively fulfilling.

I’m so excited for what’s next — including new elaborate RTW's that I’ll be creating and releasing as they’re made.

📏 SIZING
Sizes CXS (4–6 yrs) to Adult 3XL.

👥 QUANTITY & MINIMUM ORDER
We accommodate any group size. Minimum order for bases is a duo (2 costumes of the same design).

💰 PRICING
Pricing depends on design complexity. Let us know your budget so we can tailor the design.

- Bases start at $70 for simple designs
- Up to $200 for elaborate bases
- Avg cost: $120–$150 per costume

Pricing is for the base only & does not include decoration.

✨ DECORATION SERVICES
Decoration is optional. Customers set their budget per costume: $20 for light details up to $300 for detailed designs.

🖊️ HOW TO BOOK IN
Book via the link in our bio for your chosen month. All bookings must be via the booking system. Unbooked groups are not confirmed.

🕒 MANUFACTURING & TIMELINE
All bases are made by our manufacturer with a 7–10 week wait, regardless of quantity. Wait starts once:

1. Design details are confirmed
2. Deposit is paid

Once complete, DMDC places the order & production countdown begins.

💸 GROUP DISCOUNTS
Group orders get 10–20% off depending on quantity per style.

📩 ORDERING & DESIGN PROCESS
Once your spot enters design, DMDC contacts via Instagram only. Orders cannot be via email or Facebook. Info needed:

- Design inspiration
- Colours
- Preferred fabric(s)
- Sizing

After info is received, we create a sketch for approval. Then we send final quote & request deposit.

- Bookings can be cancelled before design starts with no penalty
- Deposits non-refundable once production starts
- All DMDC sketches are copyright protected

🛍️ PREEXISTING BASES
Order group costumes from existing bases on our website. Bulk orders available; standard wait applies if stock is low. Pre-existing designs can be customized by colour or fabric only. Email to order.

➕ ADDING EXTRAS LATER
Extras can be added anytime. Additional costumes can be ordered individually with no minimum for existing designs. by @dance_to_dazzle

This one-off jazz costume is officially up for grabs!

Originally custom made for a dancer, this Adult Medium was simply too large at fitting, so we remade her costume in a smaller size, leaving this one available for someone new to take the stage in!

✨ Statement fringe + feather detailing
✨ Matching headpiece included
✨ One only — once sold, it’s gone

The included headpiece will be very similar to the one pictured, but not identical, as the original dancer kept the photographed headpiece and we created another to closely match the costume.

As the original dancer is still currently wearing this design in Australia, this costume is not available for Australian delivery. All international customers are welcome to purchase.
