✨Hey, I’m Jenny, and it’s probably been a while since you’ve seen my face on my own Instagram. I’m a choreographer and an artist, and I’m usually trying to post movement that I’ve created for other people on here, but I figured it might be a good time to reintroduce myself in this pursuit of art. I’ve been many things a Pilates instructor, an event planner, an arts administrator, and currently I’m a video editor.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Bravo Real Housewives, Asmr, and reading smutty books. But what I really love is creating movement, creating dances. I’ve been able to do that over the last ten years in New York City, and I’ve gotten to meet some really awesome dancers and collaborators. Together, we were able to self-produced four performances, which is no easy feat here.

I love the process of making dances. I love the risk taking that happens in the creative process, but not quite knowing what’s going to bubble up in the room when you’re creating. And then just like, really being in your body and in flow. I’m also interested in physical theater and device theater, as well as how film and video editing can work well with movement.

For the past two years, I was in a really protective space, really needing to heal my body physically. In 2024, I got long Covid and I wasn’t able to choreograph for an entire year. 2025 was a bit better. I was really focused on healing, but I really want to know how do I show up for my art and my choreography in the body that I have right now?

One of my big goals for this year is to choreograph for an Off-Broadway show. I feel like saying it out loud puts me closer to it happening. So my goals this year are to be seen again, being seen, being fully me, being fully in my body and sharing that journey with you. I’ve always loved My Strongest Suit from the musical Aida (we need a revival!). This was a JOY to choreograph and even more fun to collaborate with the dancers on!

✨Thanks for all the love on MDLN part 1. Here’s part 2! I had so much fun choreographing the patterns and setting up the shots for this video. The pre-production really set us up to get the overhead shots and different angles. Editing was A JOY because I had so many good takes to use ✨

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated by the art of title sequences. They set the tone, establish the world, and invite the viewer on a journey that clues them in on what they are about to experience.

I always told myself I needed to learn more, or wait for the ‘perfect’ moment when a studio would commission me to build one from scratch. But about a month ago, I decided to stop waiting for permission.

And as a Key Art designer, I am used to telling a story in a single frame.

That challenge is what made me want to start learning After Effects 6-7 years ago. I saw an amazing opportunity to expand my skill set. I went from telling a story on a poster to developing animated key art and my own cinematic title sequences.

I wanted to see if I could build a premium title sequence right at home in my living room - without any AI tools, giant agency budget, or any fragmented pipelines.

Today, I’m excited to share the first piece of that project: the OBLIVION title sequence.

With the help of my wife, a talented Movement Director, we captured our own assets with custom lighting, costumes, and props on a green screen, and combined my 16+ years of network and agency Creative Direction under one roof.

We handled every single step ourselves - from the asset capture to compositing, motion tracking, type design, color grading, and editing. We bypassed the traditional processes of larger, slower timelines usually seen in entertainment.

This sequence is just one piece of a larger OBLIVION 360 campaign that I’ll be rolling out over the coming weeks to show how a focused, agile, and experienced team can build something massive right at home.

Modern Dance Love Note, Part 1 - At the end of 2025, I wanted to return to my modern dance roots. I missed the patterns, lines, directional changes, the improv, the pointed feet (and attention to THE feet), and darting across a huge dance floor. I MISS REHEARSALS AND PROCESS. And I miss movement for movement’s sake. So here’s my little love note to modern dance.
