Officially introducing and welcoming Kathleen on board to join Dance Dance Involution’s Edinburgh run! Thanks for stepping in gamely as we encountered some logistical setbacks! We won’t introduce Kath too much for now, as you’ll surely see more of her here!

Critically-acclaimed director Eugene Ma (@playwitheugene) invites you to a smart, witty play where young people navigate the chaos of hustle and quiet quitting. Watch as these dreamers wrestle with their voices, their pasts and the unpredictable journey ahead.

Three Gen Z Hong Kong actors hustle for stardom – will they shamelessly scam your ticket by just lying flat or will they blow your mind and shine? A daring, hilarious roller coaster where ambition meets absurdity.

A thrilling blend of sweat, rage, burnout and moments of hope – come along for a wild, unforgettable ride!

Directed and Written by: Eugene Ma (@playwitheugene)
Co-written with: Ashley So (@ashxsoo), Dorothy Chow (@dorothyyyyv), Kathleen Wong (@kathleenw_ ) & Sheena Chan

And that’s a wrap— what a journey! Dance Dance Involution has completed its run of 18 electrifying performances at the Edinburgh Fringe, and we at Deliberate Collision are overwhelmed with gratitude for the immense love and support we’ve received. This was our company’s first draft of our debut show, and we couldn’t be prouder to have brought these Hong Kong voices to international stages with verve, rigor, and a dynamic dialogue that resonates with global works and cultures, infused with nuance and immediacy.

To every audience member who joined us: your laughter, your tears, your rapt attention and from your heartfelt conversations at the venue to the stunning fan art you created have left us in awe. Your energy and enthusiasm fueled every moment on and off stage, making each performance a shared celebration. To our phenomenal producing partners @letsbetogetherartfestival and @clartscollective , stage manager @cynthiaws , tireless team, comrades in other shows and every supporter who believed in us: your unwavering dedication, late nights, and boundless creativity turned our vision into reality. To the Edinburgh Fringe community: thank you for opening your hearts and stages to us, providing a platform where our voices could soar and connect with audiences from around the world. And to Hong Kong, our heartbeat and inspiration: your stories, spirit, and trust have been the foundation of this journey, and we are honored to carry them forward.

We’re just beginning and can’t wait to collide with you again in art that transcends borders.

With endless gratitude, Deliberate Collision.
