The kids had fun… and I think the adults did too! 😄 One of my favourite parts of our Clayton Park West Community BBQ & Open House was seeing children and families simply having fun together. A big thank you to the team at Keshen Goodman Public Library for opening up the space to us and helping make the day possible. I have a special shout out coming just for them because they deserve it! ❤️ Inside, there was something happening everywhere. We had games, face painting, activities for the kids and, of course, the dance area. And apparently nobody told the adults it was supposed to be for the kids because we definitely joined in! 😂💃🏾🕺🏾 Outside, the excitement continued with a fire truck and police vehicle for the kids to explore, ask questions and interact with our first responders. 🚒🚓 Thank you to the crew from Station 7 and Constable Todd Stephenson for spending time with our children and families and making the experience even more memorable. And a very special shout out to the wonderful volunteers who looked after our kids area: ❤️ Nicole, Noor, Anu, Mayowa, Ife, Christobel and dance coach Ify Thank you for your energy, patience and care, and for helping make sure our youngest guests had such a great time. Children playing. Parents connecting. Neighbours meeting neighbours. Adults dancing. Lots of smiles. That was a good day in Clayton Park West. ❤️ #ClaytonParkWest #Community #FamilyFun #Volunteers #halifax by @danceflow.ca
