Since 2012, Danceforce Elite has been more than just a dance company—it’s been a vision, a family, and a legacy. From our first Bud Billiken Parade in 2013 to five locations across Chicago, we’ve continued to grow and impact countless young lives. After losing our main coach @ayecoachmatt 👑in April 2024, we faced one of our hardest chapters, but we kept pushing forward. Today, with 200+ kids and so much more ahead, I’m reminded why we started. ❤️💙💛✈️

🕊️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF DARNELL PAYNE 🕊️

Dance Force Elite extends our deepest condolences in remembrance of Darnell Payne — an Icon, dance industry supporter, youth advocate, mentor, and community leader.

His impact reached far beyond the dance floor. Darnell dedicated his time, energy, and love to uplifting young people and supporting the dance and Chicago communities.

His guidance, encouragement, and commitment to making a difference will not be forgotten.

You inspired.
You advocated.
You mentored.
You led.
You left a legacy.

Thank you, Darnell, for the light you brought into our community and for the lives you touched along the way.

May you rest peacefully. 🕊️❤️
Your legacy will live forever.

With love and respect,
Dance Force Elite

FIRST PLACE! 🥇🔥 And Dance Force Elite came to EARN it!

Congratulations to Dance Force Elite @danceforceelite, your 1st Place winners in the 2026 Bud Billiken Parade Performing Arts League Competition! 💙💛

From the moment they hit King Drive, the confidence, precision, energy, and teamwork were undeniable. But what we saw on parade day was only part of the story, this win represents the practices, discipline, dedication, and love for the craft that happen long before the crowd starts cheering. 👏🏾

Dance Force Elite, THIS is your moment. You earned it! 🏆

Now Chicago, help us celebrate our champs! 🎉 Drop a 🥇 in the comments and show Dance Force Elite some love! And if you saw them on King Drive, tell us your favorite part of their performance. 👇🏾

from the desk of the CEO: Words can’t express how I’m feeling right now. Yeah the tears are rolling like a river ❤️

In 2012, Matthew and I combined our teams (dance force & Chicago Elite Allstars) and created what would become Dance Force Elite. Since then, I have sacrificed so much to make sure our baby continued to grow, thrive, and have a future.

Two years ago, I quit my job just to make sure I could dedicate myself fully to taking care of our family and our dancers. Every year, the Bud Billiken Parade is dedicated to Matty, and this year felt even more meaningful.

Words truly can’t express how much I love my Dance Force Elite Family. Thank you all for having my back—every manager, coach, parent, dancer, and supporter. These last two years have been hard, and honestly, the two weeks leading up to the parade were even harder.

But today, I am HAPPY. ❤️😭 Tears of joy are flowing uncontrollably because seeing what we accomplished makes every sacrifice worth it.

Now, to my kids…

Y’all see why I’m hard on y’all. I push you because I know what you are capable of. I will always push you to be GREAT, to believe in yourselves, and to become the best versions of yourselves. I am more than proud of every single one of you.

You showed up. You represented. You made me proud.

Love, Father Force ❤️
