Still trying to take it all in… ❤️‍🔥

I’m beyond grateful and honored to officially be a Miami Heat Dancer! 🏀🔥

This has been a dream of mine, and I’m so thankful for every person who has believed in me, supported me, trained me, pushed me, and cheered me on along the way. Every long day, every sacrifice, every lesson, and every moment led me here. So excited for this new chapter. Thank you @natskee00 for this incredible opportunity. by @dancer_naty

Natalya Toirac is a first-year member of the Miami Heat Dancers. She outlined her journey in this Dance Diary.
“I started dancing when I was really young, and it quickly became something I absolutely fell in love with,” she said. “What started as a fun activity turned into my biggest passion. Dance has been such a huge part of my life, and I honestly can’t imagine my life without it. I started dancing when I was 7 years old, so I’ve been dancing for 12 years now! It’s crazy to think that something I started doing as a little girl has brought me to where I am today.”
She is a versatile dancer.
“Over the years, I’ve trained in contemporary, hip hop, Latin ballroom, ballet, jazz and lyrical,” she said. “I love being able to explore different styles because each one allows me to express myself in a different way.”
Becoming a pro dancer was a thrill for her.
“Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamed of becoming a Miami Heat Dancer,” she said. “I remember watching them perform and imagining myself out there one day. To now be living that dream at 19 years old is honestly surreal.”
She has grown close with her teammates.
“My favorite part is definitely the sisterhood we’ve built,” she said. “Being surrounded by such talented, supportive and inspiring girls makes the experience even more special. I also love how involved the organization is in the community. Being able to give back, connect with fans and make a positive impact beyond the court is something that means so much to me.”
She stretches and works on her core.
“Outside of team practices, I focus a lot on strengthening my core and stretching daily to maintain my flexibility,” she said. “On my days off, I also love going back to my home studio, DanceTown, to continue training. I believe there’s always room to grow, no matter how long you’ve been dancing.”

Performing brings out the best in her.
“It’s honestly a feeling like no other!” She said. “The adrenaline, the energy from the crowd, the music — everything just comes together. The second I step onto the court, all the nerves turn into excitement. There’s something so special about performing and sharing what I love with thousands of people. It’s a f by @dancer_naty

11 years later, my heart is overflowing with gratitude 🤍

Thank you to @mannycastrodt @lorycastro31 for believing in me, challenging me, and helping me become not only a stronger dancer, but a stronger person. Every correction, every rehearsal, every hug, and every lesson has shaped who I am today. To my teammates, thank you for becoming the family I never knew I needed and for standing by me through every high and low. I will cherish all the memories.

As a graduating senior, this isn’t goodbye, because @dancetownmiami will always be home and you will always be family. 💙 by @dancer_naty
