I dreamed of this project a few months ago โ€” The Inner Us , the journey of our soul from birth to adulthood. Along with my extremely hardworking and blooming students, I performed a glimpse of it in a three-minute piece last January. I never imagined that I would get the opportunity to present this entire production as a full one-hour show in front of an international audience at the famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026. @edfringe My endless Pranam and love to my Maa Baba and my Gurus ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป. For dancers, getting ready for a shoot is such time and energy taking, always feels like getting ready for a shoot is not worth of time ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Meet the artist #1 joining the Community Practice Training @theiyaarts โœจ We are so excited to welcome @nritya_shilpidhara, who is an Odissi dancer, educator, and Founder of Malhar Dance Foundation in Edinburgh. Her artistic training began at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and continues under the guidance of Guru Kavita Dwibedi. A Visharad in Odissi dance, she also holds a postgraduate degree from the University of Delhi. Through her work as a dance facilitator at Lilawati Vidya Mandir and Ganga International School in Delhi, and Global Indian International School, Abu Dhabi, she has nurtured young learners while continuing her performance practice across India and the UAE During this training programme two Dance practitioners will receive time, resources and guidance to develop their practice in community settings (including care contexts, hospitals, carersโ€™ programmes, ASN settings, and mixed-ability groups).
