The sun has almost set and from atop a hill a heartbeat beckons, a deep and bassy heartbeat. The masses answer this call; throwing their hands, stomping their feet, they dance into the night.

Yendor’s ‘Fort Ballance’ EP pays direct homage to a beacon of music and community for Wellington that is the Fort Ballance bunker raves. A celebration of the raves as well as the blossoming progressive scene in Aotearoa.

Washed out vocals are struck against percussive clarity leading the party into a state of cathartic abstraction. In a world ever encroached by digital perversion, these third spaces and unifying moments are more precious than ever.

Born in Tāmaki Makaurau, now living in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Cee has built a reputation over the past few years as one of the most reliable selectors in the city. Whether it’s warming a night up, cooling it down or sending the party to outer space, she nails it every time. With an affinity for trance, prog and acid house her sets are groove focused and bass driven; tripped-out euphoria with a touch of whimsy. She encapsulates everything we love here at Dance Therapy.

In hot demand, Cee has been busy playing club nights, bunker raves and a highlight of @meander_nz . When not djing a dance-floor shes blessing the airwaves on her @__mouthfull__ show ‘Trip To Earth’.

With every session, the therapy gets more effective. Connections deepen, between the body and the music, the dancer and the dance-floor. @cobs_sounds and @monday_suckz had the room shouting for more; a community of movers and feelers is coming into focus.

Producers for over a decade each, the two first linked for a B2B in 2022, finding a shared interest in percussive, soulful club music. Now flatmates, the pair are in constant exchange, digging, jamming, and making music together.

They have both had a very busy first half of 2026, with Monday playing @twistedfrequencyfestival and Cob playing the new @meander_nz , as well as both being booked for a bunch of local club nights. We are pumped to be letting them loose for 5 hours, confident no dancer will be leaving without getting a serious sweat on first.

Some vibes you can expect this friday at @newtownmoon @foxtrot_________ all-night-long..

Foxtrot, has been in and around different dance communities for six years, trotting between the deep sub-frequencies further south and the high-energy clubs of the north, traversing a sound which echoes the deepness of the dense native bushland. A selector of psychedelic textural atmospheres, she journeys across house, techno, and bass adjacent wavelengths.

As co-director of Tāmaki Makaurau-based dance series @terrainia.world , co-founder of @aklambientsociety and core whānau member of @twomindsfestival , Foxtrot is all about working intentionally; putting care into watering the roots of the scene and pushing for more delicate and introspective dance-floors.
