Growing up, mom always had friends who would stay with us, come by for a visit, or just randomly be on the couch in the mornings when I left for school. Our house was a safe space for those who needed to reset or sinple needed a place to escape. One of those friends became like an Aunt to me. She kept it real with me and taught me just how quick life could get "real". She would tell me stories about all of the metal in her body, show me scars, gave me pointers on how to treat a woman, and taught me never to take shit from anyone. I took this advice to heart. She was the first person I ever stood up for. All 90 soaking wet pounds, standing firm in my underwear in the front yard, telling a grown male I would beat him up if he didn't stop abusing her and leave. Boy... I must have been frightening 🤣 but he left. This forever earned me the nickname BVD due to the underwear I was wearing.

She always told me when she passed away she was leaving her body to me so that I could see she was donated to science..

Turns out, im not ready to do that and she could use a few prayers.

Life is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Each day I am thankful that I have Amanda Ramiccio English by my side and for all the hell she has saved me from. As Christ loved the Church, I pray that I can love you as faithfully, for ever. Happy 21st birthday my love. I hope your day makes you as happy as finding pockets in a new dress 🤣

Ephesians 6:10-20
[10]Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
