Every neighborhood has a story.

Some tell stories of disinvestment, abandoned homes, and opportunities that were overlooked. Others tell stories of hope, vision, and people who refuse to give up on their community.

East 21st Street is telling a different story.

That story is being written by, Salinda! A remarkable Black woman whose vision reaches far beyond real estate. Instead of seeing boarded-up properties, she saw potential. Instead of waiting for someone else to make a difference, she decided to become the difference.

One property became another. Then another. Today, she’s leading the revitalization of an entire block, creating beautiful homes that will reshape the future of the neighborhood and leave a legacy that extends far beyond bricks and mortar.

This is what community development looks like when it’s fueled by purpose. It’s about believing in people, investing where others won’t, and creating spaces where families can thrive for generations.

Watching this vision come to life has been a powerful reminder that one person with enough passion can change the direction of an entire community.

Weekly Wins. 💼🏗️✨

Yesterday started at the Veteran Business Entrepreneur Mission breakfast at Camden Yards in Baltimore Harbor, surrounded by influential leaders, state officials, and organizations creating real impact for veterans, business owners, and the community. Grateful for the conversations, connections, and inspiration shared in the room.

I’m also humbled to announce a new partnership between @constructgenx_ and @dandcllc #supporting revitalization efforts in Baltimore City. Real community development takes real partnership. 💙

Had the opportunity to conduct site visits, observe ongoing work, meet part of the crew, and make firsthand assessments. There’s something powerful about being able to combine service, vision, and execution while contributing to something bigger than yourself.

Listed and SOLD in less than 60 days. This home was a vacant and abandoned shell for over 20 years and now it’s home to a new Homeowner. I get to live in my purpose by bringing life, love and heartfelt vibes back into a home and community with a quality rehab. @dandcllc
