Wax Stories 001. The first in a new series, the records I love, and the stories attached.

Lone Cat (Holding On) by @benwatt 2003. Catalogue 001 on Buzzin’ Fly Records, a label Watt set up specifically to release this track after 50 white labels for friends became 2,000 copies circulating in New York.

I first heard it at a tiny place called Fluid, London around 2am. The organ came in and the room leaned forward.

Spent the next day trying to remember enough of the vocal to find it. Played it to death ever since.

I feel a little part of me will always be a trance fan.
