FOR SALE: The Joy of Gay Sex: An Intimate Guide for Gay Men to the Pleasures of a Gay Lifestyle by Dr. Charles Silverstein and Edmund White, first edition, first printing, published in 1977. Signed by Edmund White to a couple named Richard and Dale in San Francisco, as well as inscribed by the couple (while they were in bed consulting it) with their address, the date, and the exact time of the inscription. For sale: First edition box set of The Civil War: A Narrative by Shelby Foote. The third volume has a shoddy repair job to reattach the spine to the front flyleaf, but is in otherwise great condition and now holding together just fine. Another volume has a small pen mark and stain on front dust jacket. All jackets have been personally wrapped in archival mylar for preservation and presentation. NOT former library copies and in the original black slipcase issued with this set, which was later changed to feature the jacket cover.
