“I like starting with nothing and just seeing what evolves.” - Frank Gehry

I had hoped to share a thought, a line of inquiry; now, that encounter will never be. by @dandelion__l

taken in Deep Cove, Northern Vancouver, Canada by @dandelion__l

No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
Each man’s death diminished me,
Therefore, send not to know for whom the bell tolls.

The cosmic web is a vibrant superorganism — its filamentary networks of assembling dark matter providing the mesh on which the large-scale structure of the universe is composed.

Ordinary matter is gravitationally attracted to the densest parts of the cosmic web, and there galaxies and clusters of galaxies are formed, leaving large, relatively empty voids. Some scientists observed that complex, three-dimensional spider/webs resemble computer simulations of the cosmic web. Building on this analogy, Tomás Saraceno invented, for the first time, an original technique for 3D scanning, digitizing and reconstructing spider/webs. In this installation, a laser sheet bi-dimensionally intersects the spider/web. The visual vibratory signals of the laser reveal the hidden architectural entanglements woven by the spider. Maybe spiders, whose vibratory sensitivities are far more developed than those of humans, can already perceive dark matter, building their complex mazes according to its invisible score.

Floats in the air.
It is not the time for me to sit and brood alone.
The touch of the dew is over the woodland.
On the fairy web in the forest path
the light and shadow feel each other.
I gaze upon the horizon, seeking for my song.

Power Device: Through rotation, the intersection formed by the body and light and shadow presents a complementary color relationship, with a blend of solid and void, creating an instant moment of illusion. This is endowed by light.
