Day 319... while I love hustle (and a little bustle to boot), there is something so idyllic about sitting outside on a crisp(ish) Sunday morning with a coffee and our girl.

Sure, it's decaf (I'm waiting for the leaded with Stephanie), but I am just so grateful for the tranquility of birds, crickets, a gentle breeze, and the sounds of eighteen-wheelers emanating from the interstate.

Day 318... I'm thankful for little things that are big things to me.

When I was a kid, I LOVED the car wash. As I get older, it's more of a luxury item in which I rarely spend my money.

So it is with great happiness that I find myself on a glorious Saturday morning getting my car bathed for the first time in what seems like four score and seven years ago.

She will be completely douched with dog hair by the end of the weekend, but for a few glorious hours, she'll be showroom clean again.

Day 316 (yesterday)... I am so grateful to get to see really cool things in my work.

Last night, I had the privilege of filming the new art installation opening at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, which was just such a remarkable event. The art was spectacular and the place was packed.

Then I found out that not only do they do this event twice per year, but that it was free to the public.

In fact, the museum is ALWAYS free. Yet another reason why there is so much to love in St. Louis.

And one of the cappers? The sky that greeted me when I went outside to film some exteriors.

Day 227... a last day... a last few chances to make a few last memories. I am so beyond grateful for the last nine days. I wish I had the words to capture my emotions.

To my folks and my brother... thank you with every fiber of my being for putting this together. I love you all so much.

To my boys... thank you for giving us so much of your time. It is the greatest gift you will ever give us. You are our reason for everything, and your mama and I love you beyond words.

And to Stephanie... my ride or die, my best friend, my lover, my love... thank you for your sense of adventure, your trust, and your steadfast nature. You are the root of our family, and your three boys will never forget that. We love you to distraction.

So one last dinner, one last nightcap, and one last sleep.

Tomorrow... we're going home. I'll miss this place so much...

Day 226 (yesterday)... do you ever remember a moment when you realized, "This is the best (anything) I've ever experienced?"

Stephanie and I were able to witness that through the eyes of our boys last night... and I will be grateful for the rest of my days because of it.

We waited until very late in our trip to take Sam and Ben to a restaurant called The Waterlot for dinner. To say that this place is on a different level is the understatement of the century.

Our boys were so overwhelmed with just how next-level the food and service was that they almost struggled for the words to describe the experience. They told our server their thoughts, which affected him so much that he brought the chef out to hear it for himself... who was just as overwhelmed.

So much so that he sent out homemade chocolates and a note written in more chocolate on the plate.

At one point, Ben looked at me and said, "This trip and this restaurant has showed me that if I ever get married, I'd love this to be where we have our honeymoon.

And as for Sam? He had perma-grin for two hours straight. He'd never experienced a dinner like this in his 20 years of life.

It made Steph and I so happy to see our boys so happy, and it will be a night I will take with me as long as I have my memories to take <3 by @danduffyon

Day 224... Part Dos... as magical as this trip has been, the part that I am by far the most grateful for is that our boys still want to hang out with us.

Instead of galavanting to a new bar or restaurant in town, they requested room service and a spirited game of Uno.

I do not know what Stephanie and I did to deserve the children we were given by God, but I will never not be grateful for them.

We only have them like this for a few more days, and I will do everything in my power to savor each moment we have <3 by @danduffyon

Day 222... I'm so grateful to God that we had the ability to allow our boys to do this today.

Britney, Alaric, and the entire crew at Dive Bermuda... specifically the Robinson's Marina location in Sandy's Parish... we're beyond amazing.

To experience one of the greatest of the great diving experiences in the entire world, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

After today, both Sam and Ben said they can't wait to get certified and go diving other places around the world.

Their wanderlust and sense of adventure do my heart so, so good <3 by @danduffyon

Desperate help for the cousin of my friend. They just posted this:

"Anyone know anybody selling tickets for the airshow on Saturday? Our airplane loving 2 year old had surgery Wednesday so we didn’t buy tickets in case he wasn’t feeling well but we waited too long & now they’re sold out now for Saturday. We’d appreciate any leads on anything! TIA!"
