D2 NATIONAL CHAMPS!
One hell of a weekend.
Saturday: I got first place in individual jump.
We got 2nd place in team jump
And someone not associated with the team started a @sprites.barstool page
Sunday: @ski_sprites got 1st place - national champs!
I won Male MVP of the tournament
THE @jacobweber92 and I won highest scoring barefoot act (pic with the best boat drivers as well)
and the speedos won best comedy! @duncan_riedi
Along with the best sportsmanship award to top the cake (chef’s kiss)
Thank you @ski_broncs_water_ski_show_team for putting on a great tournament. by @dane.engstrom

What a weekend!
Ski sprites are D2 State champs!
Completely shocked and honored that we pulled out a 1st place show with the size of team we have! Some extra awards included Ben and I’s barefoot circle being the highest scoring act of the tournament as well as Lizzy and Dallas most unique act! And a new nickname from @rezskidad 🫡 by @dane.engstrom

January 2025 was a rowdy one.
I almost gave up the streak with the last month of weather. I assumed there was no shot.
The last 4 days of January. Well above freezing and sunny. I knew it was a go.
I spent 2 full days. $200 in fuel and went through 6 chainsaw chains and broke a skid steer attachment.
But i finally got the boat landing open to take a ski run January 31st.
all I could do was a 2 ski run on the @legacyskis cause of the amount of floating ice chunks. But a ski run is a ski run and the 2.7 year streak continues by @dane.engstrom
