It’s not quite the adventures we’re used to, but at least we’re still finding ways to enjoy a little fresh air together.⁣
⁣
Since Luna’s surgery, I’ve been incredibly grateful for the support that helped us get her the care she needed. She’s home, she’s resting, and we’re taking her recovery one day at a time.⁣
⁣
But something I want to share is that 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲.⁣

We were able to move forward because of your donations and because I took on the remaining immediate costs through credit. We still have outstanding surgery expenses, along with her postoperative care, medications, follow-up appointments, and any rehabilitation her veterinarian recommends.⁣

So while the urgency of surgery has passed, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭.⁣

And she’s finally home, resting and recovering. 🥹⁣

I’ve been trying to find the right words to share this update, because there’s so much gratitude behind it.⁣
⁣
When I first asked for help, Luna was in pain from a complete CCL rupture, and I was facing the overwhelming reality of how to afford the surgery she needed.⁣
⁣
I didn’t know how we were going to make it happen.⁣
⁣
But so many of you showed up for us.⁣
⁣
Through your donations, shares, messages, and encouragement, we were able to raise enough support to move forward with her surgery. We hadn’t reached our full fundraising goal, so I made the decision to cover the remaining immediate costs through credit.⁣
⁣

Seeing her resting at home brings me so much relief. There’s still a road ahead, with follow-up appointments, medications, recovery care, and the financial responsibility of the surgery costs I had to cover.⁣

✨ Some news I’m proud to share: I’ve started a new role as Assistant Director, Marketing at Student Union, Inc. at San Jose State University. 💙💛

Getting here took a winding path, starting as Lead Graphic Designer with Associated Students at SJSU, then stepping into the Interim Marketing and Communications Manager role. Along the way, I got to lead a marketing team that taught me as much as I hope I taught them. 🫶

Here’s to the next chapter 🥂✨

If you’re going to wander the wasteland, you better make sure you’re running with the right crew. 🎚️✨

Sharing some overdue love for the incredible Fallout piece at this year’s Broadway Bares SF. Being asked to step into a lead role for this number was an honor, but the real highlight was the absolute powerhouse team of dancers I got to share the stage with. The synchronicity, the performance value, and the sheer fun of this piece came down to every single person in this line.

A little late to the timeline, but the post-show high is still very real. 👾🔥

@broadwaybaressf : StripStation 9 officially made history on June 17, drawing a near-capacity crowd of 1,046 to the newly renovated Castro Theatre and raising a record-breaking $177,787 for the Richmond/Ermet Aid Foundation and Broadway Cares!

This was my most involved year since joining the family in 2024, and it checked every single box I've been looking for since moving back to the Bay. Finding a community of creatives and theater performers where I can create, perform, and give back has been everything.

Wore a lot of hats this year—graphic designing, choreographing, and dancing—and my heart is just full of gratitude for the trust and support given to me to make it all happen.

Shoutouts are mandatory for the village it took to bring this to life:
