The dancefloor has always been my sanctuary and my sacred space, but over the past year, I’ve accumulated some beautiful music, and it would be my honor to share it with you all at Archivio Records on Saturday, September 26th, from 6 PM onwards.

I never imagined I would see my name on a flyer alongside the names of three people whom I respect, admire, and who have inspired, motivated, and taught me so much. To play music together with @reggie_____kntx, @adrioic, and @sammirmusic is a tremendous privilege, and I couldn’t be more proud to call these men my brothers.

Music is so many things to so many people, and to me, it’s everything. Through music, I’ve found joy, hope, purpose, community, my closest friends, the love of my life, and, most importantly, myself. It’s hard to imagine I would be who I am in this moment without the influence and support of @pabloromero.nyc @daniel_dutts. Much more than a record store, @archivio_records is home, and I couldn’t possibly imagine a more perfect place to share music in public for the first time.

It will be a strange feeling being behind the turntables instead of rocking out in front of them, but despite my beatmatching and mixing being far from perfect, I can promise one thing: I will put my heart and soul into my selection.

I hope to see you on Saturday! by @daneshimran
