Beyond the Artist Print:
The Photobook as a Complete Artwork

An Artist Panel Discussion
on Sunday, November 1 at 3 PM
Join us for an expansive conversation about the role of the photobook with photographers Neal Rantoul, Mercedes Jelinek, Frances Jakubek, Michael Hintlian, Henry Horenstein, and Richard Renaldi.

Photographer Neal Rantoul has self-published numerous photobooks and found they fuel his creative life. These photography books or catalogues are intended as a cohesive artistic expression. The panel of artists will share how photobooks facilitate a deeper connection to the work, a clearer sense of the photographer’s intent, and a lasting source of inspiration that we can return to time and time again.

Don’t miss the unique opportunity to see this lineup of photographers! Advance registration is required for this ticketed program. Tickets are free for Danforth members. Non-members purchase a ticket which includes Museum admission.
