I was invited to a @levis event by my fairy Godmother @keepingupwith_kees and given an opportunity to walk away with some custom apparel ✨💫🤠

I figured it would be PERFECT if I did an actual photoshoot at a real ranch, so I called up my boys @kris.lindsey78 and @pearlandlabradors1128 in Pearland to come let me bother his chickens for a bit so my bestfriend @killuhhhcam can do a photoshoot of me 😂

By the end of the photoshoot I wanted to stay out there and bbq some ribs on that smoker in the back and go get some cigars & bourbon. BE DELIVERED‼️

Three years ago, I said yes to something I couldn’t fully see.

Today, I just walked out of my last day of PhD coursework.

And what people don’t always see is what it took to get here. The doubt that tried to convince me I wasn’t enough. The silent battles with imposter syndrome. The long drives, over an hour at times, just to sit in rooms that stretched me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The weight of deep lectures that didn’t just challenge my mind, but challenged who I was becoming. The looks from people who didn’t understand. The opinions from people who questioned what God told me to do, as if they had the full blueprint for my life.

But I stayed.

Not because I had all the answers, but because I had instruction. And sometimes God won’t give you the full picture, He’ll just give you the next step. And your faith is revealed in whether you move anyway.

This journey required fortitude. Discipline. Obedience. There were moments I wanted to stop, moments I questioned everything, moments I felt like I didn’t belong in the rooms I was sitting in. But I kept showing up.

And now, by His grace, I’m stepping into the next phase: the dissertation.

This summer and fall, I move forward again into the unknown, trusting the same God who brought me this far will carry me the rest of the way.

December 2026… PhD in Educational Leadership and Counseling.

Not just a degree. A testimony.

If God gave you the vision, even if it’s incomplete, even if it doesn’t make sense to others, even if the road feels lonely… follow it anyway. Step by step. Day by day. He will meet you in your obedience.

One year ago today, I posted an Instagram Reel that changed alot for me. I honestly just did it so that I could gain more visibility with my photography. It actually went completely the opposite way cause I went from 7,000 followers to 193,000 within 1 year by telling a couple of jokes. Been on the news, radio, and I’ve been shared by celebrities that I used to watch growing up.

The main thing I love about what I do, is putting a smile on a person’s face and a laughter in their chest. Whether you are in the bed or at work. The dm’s I receive about people dealing with depression and anxiety and how my videos make them keep going throughout the day, brings tears to my eyes to the point where I have to pull my car over from driving. As a person who used to battle with depression and still has anxiety, it hits differently. Laughter HEALS. It truly is the best medicine sometimes. So when you see me at urban social at the bar, or at the HEB in 3rd ward buying some Debbie cakes, or anywhere out in Houston, feel free to speak and come share a laugh with me. I may be ashy and my ankles need lotion, but always know that I am your friend, I am truly your favorite cousin, and yes I will give you a tight hug, because everybody needs one and you are loved, even by a stranger like me. No, I am not “famous”, I’m just a regular Houstonian that loves to see people smile. So I guess I’ll just keep making these videos and making the world heal, one joke at a time.
