The creative life is unpredictable in the most extraordinary way. One day you are simply trying to make something meaningful; another, you find yourself receiving the blessings of Mr Ram Nath Kovind (14th President of India) for that very work.

Immensely honoured that he graciously launched the Godavari Sewa Samiti magazine, which I had the privilege of creating, from conceptualisation to execution. A surreal reminder that sincere work travels farther than we can ever foresee, often returning to us as moments we will carry for a lifetime. ✨🤍

Thank you to all the wonderful people who made this happen. @goda_aarti_nashik

At the stroke of midnight, the shadows of gender faded into oblivion, and India rose to a new dawn: the freedom of sport, equal and unbound.

So much to say, yet at a loss of words. This victory is for every girl whose dreams were once shunned: “Women’s cricket mein koi future nahi hai.” This victory is for every girl who rebelled and reached new heights in cricket: Our Team India, including the ones who came earlier, and paved the way to reach where we are today. But most importantly, this victory is for an entire new generation: Young girls who will proudly, unapologetically dream of playing PROFESSIONAL cricket as they play for their GULLY leagues. For STREETS where little girls and boys wear Smriti and Virat jerseys, playing for the same team, together as one. For HOMES where the meaning of being an Indian Cricket Fan will change forever. Congratulations, the concept of “Aadha Fan” has left the chat.

Haar ke jeetne wale ko baazigar kehte hain. Here’s an underdog team that proved that by defeating the undefeated team we were all scared of. What came out of that were pure emotions— like the players, I could not stop crying. Some people just watched the game today because it was a crucial semi-final, but others, we’ve seen our Captain Kaur’s team since Day 1. The emotions that come from that, from knowing what it felt like to have back to back losses, and yet see this team RISE like a phoenix. It’s left me speechless, and inspired. Jemi Rodrigues— what does one say about you? Not only did you win hearts with the bat, but with what you said in the post-match commentary, pure emotion. And Captain O Captain, our Captain Kaur, our Harry Di, we’re here for you. We know what this holds for you. Smriti, the rock of the team. Richa, the powerhouse. Pratika, your young talent has been remarkable through the tournament and is missed. Kranti, Deepti, Sneh, our phenomenal bowlers. And the entire team, every single player who has shined in each match, playing different roles yet coming together as one. This team has it in its guts. It can do it. One match, Team India. One match. We are with you. We support you. Every Indian supports you with heart and soul. Take us over to the other side. Take us home 🏆
