If you look back two years at my feed, you’ll see I got the itch to make a podcast for artists a long time ago. I have been quietly working on it, learning software, playing with intros, and being continually interrupted by my cats. I’m grateful for all the moments, even the ones I felt like it wouldn’t happen, because I am impatient and unrealistic with myself sometimes. Sometimes I forget how big my dreams are, and just feel the distance - instead of noticing how far my legs are already carrying me.

Sometimes I felt too alone on that journey, and it made it hard to move forward. Sometimes you have to stop and rest. Sometimes you have to wait, even if you don’t know why.

Sometimes you’re waiting for someone who shares your dream, a dream where we celebrate the courage it takes to be creative.

@jade.elf.studio , you little hurricane, thank you for storming in 😂

Happy new scent release day from the enchanted forest! This scent was a labor of love. Countless samples were poured and tested and poured again. Florals are difficult to balance, but everyone that smelled this scent during the testing phase loved it, so hopefully you will too! It is reminiscent of walking through a rain-kissed garden. Tulips, sweet roses, and after the rain fog. Available today!

Hard to believe this doodle wall is already so full! I have been amazed at the creative outpouring from the community, especially from young kids and teens. Watching my mural fill up, has helped fill up MY cup. If you haven’t taken your chance to make your mark yet, stop by @tonyareas this week for a sip and make something! Their art cafe has tons of supplies and a fantastically cozy atmosphere. 🌻🎨 taken in Tonya Rea's Teas and Remedies by @dani.dreaming

I’ve been “dyeing” 😏 🥁to play with this ink from @birminghampens and my new quill!

Summer is upon us. Tomorrow comes. I am thinking so much of all the small creatures that depend on the nature all around us, and how small we are, too, in the schema of time. But our size does not diminish the beauty we are capable of creating, and noticing.

This original artwork by me will be available only at @whimsy.emporium.knox — about to go drop it off! by @dani.dreaming

Happy 5th birthday @tonyareas

Completing this mural means a lot to me. But nothing could have prepared me for the medicine of seeing it become more than just mine. I got to witness some young kids add to it, kicking off the Community Doodle Wall at the new Art Cafe section of @tonyareas.

We got to laugh together, share joy in the making.

My mural about creativity for @tonyareas has begun!

A blank page has always offered space for anything I’ve needed: A place to pour out my thoughts, anxieties, hopes. A place to capture my fascinations with the wonders of this Earth. A place where my deepest feelings can be transformed into art.

A blank page is a safe place to explore your creativity. And so is @tonyareas art cafe.

Over the coming weeks, this mural will continue to take shape and transform. Come lend me your creative energy and try out the amazing art supplies at Tonya’s cafe! Her drinks are the perfect pairing for an art session. 🎨☕️ by @dani.dreaming
