After savoring so many “pinch me, is this real” sunrises from this terrace, I have to share my morning magic. Thank you, Versoix, for offering me such a beautiful nest here in Switzerland. Songbird symphonies, soaring hawks, chiming bells, blossoming blooms of spring, the majesty of Mont Blanc and the Alps, an intergenerational community, public transit access, generous and friendly neighbors turned friends - ça a été tellement magique. ✨🌄💯Merci beaucoup !!

Sending love to the lungs of our planet. Each drop of water in the Brazilian Amazon felt like an antidote of tranquility for every day I’d lived in a modern city. Yet beneath the calm, reflective surface and across every layer of that rich, green canopy hummed a busy ecosystem of creatures that slowly revealed themselves. Special nod to the harmony of the pink river dolphins, the scent of the anaconda, the screech of the monkeys and the vast array of allllllllllllllllll the birds I was too impatient to appreciate. #Quarantinescapes

And to the indigenous people who are also sustained, nourished and connected exclusively by these waterways: May you survive this modern plague that has made its way through your remote tributaries. 🙏🏽

Our last morning in Kenya was drizzly. Jacob, our incredible Masai guide, drove us to a grassy area with spikes shrubs, and he said, “Just wait.” Soon, we could see these gray lumps on the gray horizon, and as we sat in the light rain, they got closer and closer. Over a dozen of them. #quarantinescapes •

Starting a new series of #latergrams called #Quarantinescapes. For anyone else seeking an escape from this pandemic play-by-play, I hope that these sips of travel, joy, community and adventure serve to remind us that we’re all in this together. 🌏

I arrived to Mallorca on a whim - or more specifically, on a flight that only cost €19. Sun-kissed and enchanted, I enjoyed a cocktail, bowl of olives and feast of unparalleled sunset views from the open-air terrace at Ristorante Illeta, which is only accessible by kayak, dingy or catwalk. The tide was coming in as I was walking out, and a German tourist - a complete stranger - stopped to take this photo. He was with his wife, and I jokingly apologized for photobombing their shot. His reply: “I just wanted to document this beautiful moment for you.” 🙏🏽 ✨ by @dani_adventures
