I've had some requests to share more about this place I know as home now here in the Zona Sur of Costa Rica.

The land I've been co-stewarding for 5 years, in a rural pueblo nestled into the valley of the Rio Diamante is known as Diamante Luz.

So as I prepare to fly out after a six month stay (my longest since 2020!) I've been doing some "walk & talks" to share my "listen & learns". Also a lot of "clean & clear" by many hands to help make sure the jungle doesn't eat stuff while we are away (it will anyway, and Ill cry over something, but it will be okay 💕😂💪🏽)

Buckle up babes, its a bumpy, and beautiful, road. taken in San Salvador, Barú by @danibelledances

One of my first event production jobs was in the music industry and I got to meet a lot of cool people including Dolly Parton.

This was early '90's, we joked about our hair being the same height.. but hers was a wig.. and her very high heels that she wore to be at similar height for the photo opp.

Then she quipped that she was supposed to be taller but instead got all bunched in the chest 😆

Thanks for the memories Dolly. by @danibelledances
