it’s been the first summer, even season, that i’ve slowed down and savored moments. i’ve stopped catching up and started being. so far, i’ve created and connected and finally realized that’s more than enough to be content during this phase of my life. languid pet stretches, colorful creations, and delightful companions is the name my game lately 🩷 by @danicaresaboutyou

towards the end of last year, as i worked on reconstructing my whole self after a long depression, i dove into drawing what i called a lineage of frogs. many became cards, sent to friends with effusive words, but i really indulged in the act of creating them before giving them away, which felt extra joyous after feeling dark for so long. just would like to share these guys, because they’re really quite sweet frogmen, i think (plus a handful of recreations of other frogs doing things) by @danicaresaboutyou

a moment of gratitude for all the stunning, funny, creative, warm, and wildly lovely gals in my life that make it worth trucking on. it’s my personal prerogative to build as many outstanding friendships as I can, and my cup is somehow already full enough for this lifetime and others to come. i’m deeply and immensely grateful for the ladies in my life that make it beautiful and fun and whimsical and an absolute blast. by @danicaresaboutyou

the first month of 2026 and year 31 snuck up on me, only to find me resting, napping, performing, and generally enjoying things on the daily. by @danicaresaboutyou

to start: thank you @lensofathenaphotography for taking these incredible photos of the @fuckthisweek in all its glory. before i auditioned, i told myself i’d be fine in the long run if they didn’t pick me to join, and that’s probably true. but what’s even more true is that in the few months since they opened their troupe to us newbies, it’s become the best way to start my week, every week. i think these photos, in all their vibrancy and color, really do depict how i feel being a part of fuck this week now. so, catch @fuckthisweek every monday at 8 pm, only at @falloutcomedyatx. xoxo, dani by @danicaresaboutyou
