God is within her, she will not fail Psalm 46:5 🤍Dear Texas Southern University,Its been a long 4 years , with many restless nights, many breakdowns, many sacrifices. With all of that I say thank you. Thank you for being the foundation that allowed career opportunities and many doors be opened my way to set me up for a successful future. Although there’s been setbacks and challenges that have been put my way God knew that this was my time to graduate and flourish into the women he wanted me to become. To my SENSATIONAL Dance team 🐯♥️ The Tiger Sensations ..For the past 3 years you have given me life , a safe space to escape my own personal situations and shaped me into the woman I am proud to be today. I was blessed to serve a Co-Captain role on my last year and even though I had no dance background from year leading up I still pushed through for my dance sisters and my coach who I called Family. Being on this team took sacrificing time , balancing school , work and personal issues and it took integrity. Being on this team didn’t just mean you were dancing it means you were representing yourself, your family and The Texas Southern University and now I will be graduating next week and will officially become and Alumni for this beautiful team who I will cherish forever. @tsusensationsofficial To My beautiful Coach Gee, Thank you for taking a chance on me and helping me out of certain situations and pushing me to be the best version of myself. Here’s to our future , as bright as our smiles today🎓♥️And the countdown begins today ! Throughout these past 4 years I would have never thought I’d be graduating let alone be taking pictures and walking the stage with my now forever person♥️To my love , from the moment we met last summer to now graduating. I cant express how proud and grateful I am to be by your side. From the moment I met you we have faced ups and downs and have had so many challenges thrown at us but we kept God between us and we were blessed with a beautiful relationship. Thank you everyone who came out and supported at Purple For A Purpose 💜 on 02/17. I am honored and grateful to plan and host this event right here at Texas Southern University because love should not hurt at all and with that being said …My name is Daniah and I am a survivor of Domestic Violence 💜 my story and experience happened my freshman year when I was 18 years old and I almost lost my life to my abuser. After prayers and years of therapy and finding the confidence to come out and share my story to help others young adults men and women. I will now say I am 21 years old and feel proud to share resources and host an event to the students right here at Texas Southern University to let every know that there is a brighter day and a brighter future. When I graduate this May i plan to become an official advocate for Domestic Violence Victims and Survivors right here in Houston. No one should ever feel silenced of ashamed or embarrassed of their experience. And I plan to help anyone who needs a way out to live a better future.
