2026 is the year I will become a mum!

I got Adam to take this photo on New Year’s Eve a million times because it just didn’t look right, and then we realised it was because the lights on the tree are faulty and dim in the middle.

At first I was really upset because this is my first pregnancy and I wanted to get the insta photo trend experience. After I had time to reflect, I remembered that parenting is not always pretty and it’s rarely instagrammable. I love my bump, and I already love our baby girl. I’m so excited to meet her this year and to begin the non-perfect journey of parenthood 😍💕 by @danicoleman22

Sunday evening pickle making 💕 absolutely stinks of vinegar in the kitchen now but I’m looking forward to eating them 😂 thanks @martintreacher for the home grown cucumber! #pickle #canningandpreserving #homesteading #homemadepickles by @danicoleman22

I love a hair refresh day. Love how vibrant the red is and how deep the black is. It feels so soft and healthy 😍💕 #emo #emohair #elderemo #redhair #blackhair #redandblackhair by @danicoleman22

Yesterday’s dinner. Smoked tofu with tomato rice, spring onion tops, chard, a lemon garlic dressing and balsamic drizzle. It was so filling that I couldn’t finish it though! #gf #glutenfree #vegan #vegetarian #tofoo by @danicoleman22

What I ate today. The recipe for dinner needs editing. I think I need to put it in a shallower dish! I also forgot to put cheese in it which would have been nicer! Overall I am happy with today and hopefully will remember to track!
