Reflecting this past week on what God did at @braveyouth Summer Camp. Thank you Jesus for how you move so special through these camps. On the last slide is a photo of me as a student at the same summer camp 7 years ago, where I found Jesus in such a life changing way. Seeing students discover their identity in Christ this week has been so touching for me because as a student I was lost in who I was, but I remember discovering what God said about me at this camp. My prayer during the camp was that students would discover that they are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession. It’s is because of Jesus that they did discover that. Thank you to the best team of leaders from @braveyouth and @bravechurch who showed up and were the backbone and hands of feet of helping students to encounter God. Small group leaders you went above and beyond spending time with students and discipling them. Thank you to Pastor @samuellaws and @marcylaws for having a huge heart and vision for students finding and following Jesus with everything and investing in that. Thank you to @oldoakranch for making an amazing home for us now and in the future. Thank you Jesus for the blood, thank you Holy Spirit for how you move so powerfully, and thank you God for what is next! This past Sunday, we had the honor of commissioning Daniel as our Youth Pastor at Brave Church. The way he shows up for students, invests in their lives, and supports their families is something really special.

Today we commissioned Daniel as a Pastor.

I’ve watched him say yes to God in both seen and unseen seasons. This moment matters because of what’s been built over time. Daniel isn’t arriving or aspiring, he’s stepping into his God-given future.

Just graduated…no cap

First off, ALL GLORY TO GOD. It honestly blows me away that God gave me the opportunity to graduate from @seuniversity and @bravechurch College with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media Communications. As I was flying to Florida, all I could think about was that just four years ago, I wouldn’t have believed all that God would do in this time. I’m beyond grateful for His faithfulness through it all. He’s brought this opportunity—along with so many others—and Jesus, I’m so thankful that You have made a way for me.

There are hundreds of people to thank, but I especially want to shout out my parents and heroes @rimakopti and @costakopti; my brothers @jk1947m and @nathankopti; one of the best mentors, Pastor @samuellaws; and everyone who helped push me across the finish line—especially the students and leaders at @braveyouth, along with all my cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Love you all, and I can’t wait to see what God does next with a life fully surrendered to Him.

This last year was SWEET!

“Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.’”
— Matthew 16:24–25

This year, the Lord has been teaching me to rest in His process of denying myself, taking up my cross, and following Him daily. As I continue to deny myself and rely on His Word and Spirit, I’m learning more and more what it truly means to be a disciple and follower of Jesus. I am incredibly blessed by the opportunities God has placed in front of me and deeply honored to share life with so many people. I’m also so grateful to continue serving and leading @braveyouth, where God is moving powerfully—and a community I love so much. Jesus, I’m ready for whatever You want to do in 2026. You truly are the greatest reward.

That was the truth that surrounded this whole winter camp at Hume. We continue to fall back into Gods extravagant, constant, and beautiful love and @braveyouth, it is beautiful to be next to you and watch you, with the spirit of joy, discover more of the beautiful love that God has for you and gives to you freely through His spirit and sacrifice. It was amazing to see your lives changed and hearts simply burning for more of Him and to know more of His love and presence. And again, beyond grateful and honored to serve with an amazing team as well that loves and leads these students right to the feet of Jesus! The last slide of this post describes this whole entire camp, students wanting to know more about Jesus. Brave Youth, I love you, and nothing made my heart happier than seeing having fun at the beach and boardwalk, dancing your hearts out, and each of you going after Jesus, surrendering everything at His feet. To our leaders, you simply are the best team we could ever ask for. Your yes to this camp and these students has lead to students everlasting impact in the students faith, which is one of the greatest sights ever, thank you! And to Brave Youth, I love you, this camp was INSANE and I can’t wait to see what God does next, this only continues on. Praise be to God for everything that he did at Summer Camp 2024.
