I can’t believe it’s over. These past 5 years have been amazing; even though through all the trials and tribulations.
This last year was the hardest by far, with the cut, injuries, and being able to feel myself lose my determination. Every single one of my teammates and coaches carried me through it. All the practices that I said “I’m done” and things like “I can’t wait for this to be over”, now there isn’t anything I wouldn’t give to go through one more awful practice with all my brothers. These guys have shaped me, picked me up when I was down, and helped me grow in my spirit and leadership. I’m so grateful for this sport and everyone involved in it. I wanna thank my coaches for everything, and overall shaping me into a young man. And lastly, I wanna say thank you to every single one of my brothers. These guys have became family and I love every single one of them. Although things didn’t end how I wanted, they never failed to check up on me and they kept me uplifted. Even though I’m broken that it ended, I’m grateful for every moment. I’ve learned to cherish everything and not take anything for granted, because that’s exactly what I did and that’s why it hurts so bad. As I close this out I want to thank God for bringing me this far in life, along with all the blessings that I experience every day. I know that God has a plan for me and I’m extremely excited to continue my academic journey at @samfordu !! Had to repost 🥲 taken in by @daniel.web08

I went from not qualifying last year, and now to placing fourth in state. Of course, that’s not the goal but it’s a step closer. I am blessed to be able to partake in this sport. I am so thankful from all the support from my coaches, friend, girlfriend, and family. I couldn’t have done it without all of you guys. I am so thankful for not just the friends that wrestling brings me, but the brothers as well. I love these people and they are my boys for life. Senior season coming up a in a year, time to push the pace. by @daniel.web08
