I’m full of gratitude for family today as I painted my first mural in my hometown. This is a painting of my grandad Ken Irons, painted on the old TC Harrison Ford garage. He was born in Eynesbury and lived most of his life in Hail Weston (just outside St Neots) which is where I grew up. His wife Edna, my Nan, worked in the school opposite this building (where Lidl is now) and their daughter Joy, my Mum, worked in this very car garage in the 60s when it was called Hunts Motors.

It has been so special sharing this with my Mum and uncle, their cousin, and my Dad and brother. Thank you so much to @clair_neotists and @slade_design huge special thank you for the assist to @sk_oneseventwo and also my bro Ben @urban_subz . And to everyone who stopped to chat and give their support, this was the best! #stneots #muralart #streetartuk #streetartstneots #daniel0wilson #chicagoartists #hailweston #irons taken in St Neots, Cambridgeshire by @daniel0wilson
