Deadlift or RDL? Similar movement, different purpose.

The conventional deadlift is all about moving the most weight possible from the floor. It builds total body strength, power, and force production.

The Romanian deadlift (RDL) starts from the top and focuses on controlling the lowering phase. It’s designed to load the hamstrings and glutes through a big stretch, making it one of the best exercises for posterior chain development.

Choose based on your goal:
✅ Want to get stronger and lift heavier? → Deadlift.
✅ Want to build hamstrings, glutes, and improve your hinge? → RDL.

Neither is better they just serve different purposes. Train with intent, not trends. 💪 by @daniel_cutrupi

❌One missed workout won’t ruin your progress.

❌One weekend of eating out won’t make you gain all your weight back.

❌One scale spike doesn’t mean you’ve gained fat.

🔁Progress comes from what you do consistently, not what happens occasionally. by @daniel_cutrupi

Form matters!

Good form means the right muscles do the work and your joints don’t cop it later. But some people get so stuck chasing “perfect” they never start, or they film every set and pick themselves apart. Don’t be that person.

Everyone’s built differently, so your squat won’t look like anyone else’s. The basics stay the same though:

✅ Controlled reps
✅ Full range you can own
✅ No pain (effort is fine, pain isn’t)
✅ Consistent from rep 1 to rep 10

Start light, learn the movement, add weight when it feels right. Form gets better by doing it. by @daniel_cutrupi

Finished your deficit? Don’t know what’s next? Don’t blow it in week one.

Don’t smash maintenance calories overnight. Add 100-150 cals/week back in (mostly carbs) until you’re at maintenance.

Adjust based on how your weight tracks over 2-3 weeks, small shifts up or down until the scale holds steady.

High vs Low Foot Placement on the Leg Press 👇

Same exercise, slightly different variation.

⬆️ Higher: generally more hip/glute involvement
⬇️ Lower: generally more knee/quad involvement

Neither is better use both depending on your goal and what feels best for your body.

Focus on good range of motion, control and progressive overload. 💪 by @daniel_cutrupi

Client Win: Adam 💪

Week 1: 85kg
Current Week: 78kg

The results speak for themselves, but here’s the best part - Adam’s done it while still enjoying everyday life. No restrictive diet, no giving up the things he loves, just building good food habits to fit his everyday lifestyle.

We’ve built solid food habits and a proper understanding of nutrition.

Massive credit to Adam for his consistency. This is what sustainable fat loss looks like, and this is only the beginning, watch this space prevail before summer💪 by @daniel_cutrupi

Cutting doesn't have to mean losing muscle.

Most people lose muscle on a cut because they rush it.

What you need:
- High protein
- Moderate deficit
- Lift heavy
- Patience…..

That's the formula. by @daniel_cutrupi
