@daniel_leejj had an unreal 2026 IBJJF Gi season in his first year as a blue belt.Securing Double Gold at IBJJF Pan Championships, Double Silver at IBJJF World Championships, and a Silver and Bronze Medal at IBJJF European Championships.Here’s a review of his lower body training session from Monday.A1 SSB Squat - Worked up to a heavy top set of 5 reps to build maximal strength in the squat pattern.B1 Hack Squat - 2-3 working sets of 8-10 reps to accumulate additional squat volume with less technical demand and systemic fatigue.C1 Barbell RDL - 2-3 working sets of 8-10 reps to strengthen the posterior chain through the hip hinge pattern.D1 Seated Calf Raise - 1-2 working sets of 10-12 reps to strengthen the lower leg and build capacity.E1 Decline Sit Ups - 1-2 working sets of 10-15 reps to strengthen the trunk through loaded spinal flexion.👉 If you’re looking to train like Daniel, head to the link in my bio for S&C programs #bjjtraining #bjjstrengthandconditioning #bjjworkout #grapplingtraining #fightertraining by @daniel_leejj

On May 24th, I had the honor of being featured on YTN's 'Global Korean' program, a well-known news network in Korea. I participated in the 2026 World Championships and earned two silver medals.(Juvenile/Super Heavyweight and Open-Weight)Today, I’m choosing to let go of disappointment and self-blame, focusing instead on moving forward. I want to express my gratitude to my supervising professor @fernandozulick, my coach @arwinfm, @valdezstrengthandperformance , who did my strength training, @yunojiujitsu.co for sponsoring my gi, and Sungeel Hitech for covering my travel expenses. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the team members @actionreactionmma who support me daily.Most importantly, I want to thank my dad, who has always been by my side, even during his battle with cancer. Accumulate as many high quality reps as possible within the prescribed time. Rest as needed between sets.B1 Deadlift - Work up to 1-2 heavy top sets of 2-4 reps. If bar speed is moving well, continue to add weight or repeat your highest effort set.C1 Push Press - 2 sets of 3-5 reps. Dip at the knees and explosive drive through the legs for the press. Each rep should be performed with maximum intent.D1 Cable Rows - 2 sets of 6-10 reps. Perform this as a double progression, keep the weight consistent between sets. Add weight if your reach the top of the rep range on both, add weight next session.E1 Conditioning - 4 sets of 15s on 45s off.
