Not every woman’s story is written down.

They told me it was too dangerous.
They told me to wait.
They told me I’d be better off playing it safe.

But solo travel taught me something else:
That I am my own protector. My own guide.
That courage doesn’t mean the fear is gone—it means I go anyway.

POV: You get a color analysis in Korea and your whole shopping experience changes! 🇰🇷🎨💚

After getting my skin analysis and personal color analysis done at My Color Lab, Dr. Han gave me my very own personalized color palette, and let’s just say… I was READY to go shopping! 🛍️✨

One of the colors on my palette was GREEN 💚, so of course I had to put it to the test!

While shopping in Korea, I started choosing clothes based on the shades in my new palette instead of just grabbing whatever caught my eye. And let me tell you… GAME CHANGER! 😍

Who knew that understanding which colors complement your skin tone could make such a difference?! I’m officially looking at shopping in a whole new way! 🎨✨

What if I told you that one of the world’s most influential cultural powerhouses was built within the lifetime of our parents and grandparents?

South Korea’s story is about so much more than K-pop, Korean barbecue, and skincare.

It’s about a country that rebuilt after war, transformed its economy, fought for democracy, and eventually introduced its culture to the world on an extraordinary scale.

In 1988, Seoul hosted the Summer Olympics.

A decade later, Korean entertainment was spreading across Asia.

Today, Korean music fills stadiums, Korean stories reach audiences around the world, and Korean beauty influences routines far beyond Seoul.

But what fascinates me most isn’t just how far South Korea has come.

It’s how quickly our perception of an entire country can change.

A nation once defined internationally by conflict is now also recognized for its creativity, innovation, and cultural influence.

And that raises an interesting question:

What other countries are we overlooking because we only know one chapter of their story?

Imagine waking up one day and discovering that the place you call home has been divided into two countries.

Not because the people asked for it, but because two foreign nations decided their future for them.

In 1945, after 35 years of Japanese colonial rule, Korea was divided into Soviet and American occupation zones. What was initially intended to be temporary became a division that would shape generations.

Then came the Korean War.

Millions of lives were lost. Families were separated. And more than 70 years after the 1953 armistice, the Korean Peninsula remains divided.

Standing at the DMZ, what struck me most wasn’t the military presence.

It was the thought that somewhere across that border are people who share a language, history, and ancestry, yet have lived completely different realities for generations.

Borders can be drawn in a moment. Their consequences can last a lifetime.

And it made me wonder: how much of our lives is determined simply by where we’re born?

What if the secret to looking your best isn’t changing anything about yourself… but simply wearing the right colors? 🎨✨

Before visiting @mycolorlab in Seoul, I knew certain colors looked better on me than others, but I never realized just how much the shades we wear can influence the way our natural beauty is perceived.

Some colors can make our features pop, while others can completely wash us out. And the craziest part? Sometimes it’s just a matter of choosing a slightly different shade of the SAME color.

During my session, I discovered that I have neutral undertones and that autumn colors complement me best. 🍂🤎

Now I understand why certain outfits have always made me feel more confident than others, and I genuinely can’t wait to go shopping in Seoul with a whole new perspective on my wardrobe.

Maybe some of you already knew all of this, but I definitely didn’t! 😂

After spending time in remote Mongolia, I decided it was time to SPLURGE and treat myself to the ultimate luxury spa experience in Seoul… and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was LIFE CHANGING. 🥹✨

I booked a 2.5-hour experience at PARKJUN BEAUTY LAB Cheongdam (박준뷰티랩 청담점), and WOW. This had been so high on my Korea bucket list, and it somehow exceeded every expectation.

The experience included 15 steps completely customized to my skin and scalp after an in-depth analysis. Getting to actually see the condition of my scalp and skin up close, understand what they needed, and have every treatment tailored specifically to me was INSANE. 🤯

POV: You leave Mongolia and fly to South Korea for a health & wellness reset. 🇲🇳✈️🇰🇷

Everyone knows Korea is the self-care capital of the world, but beyond skincare and plastic surgery, it’s also a major destination for advanced, affordable preventative healthcare! 🏥

Literally just a girlie girl in a Mongolian world 👸🏼 🪄

All jokes aside so many people asked me how I maintained my hair or looked presentable in Mongolia when I did almost 3 weeks of remote & rural camping. Where some days we didn’t have access to showers, mirrors, or any type of facilities.

Here’s a silly BTS of how I stayed semi glam, and girly while living a very basic life in remote and rural Mongolia. I opted to do pigtail braids since I knew it would be impossible to wash my hair for multiple days in a row. So I picked easy styles that I knew would still love cute and be low maintenance

Feel free to steal my style if you have a camping trip coming up & still wanna feel cute without feeling too dirty 😭

Major shout out to my hair girl @braidedbyclara for doing my first set of braids. After I took those out, I was on my own, but somehow made it work
